Wow. Late start this morning (DH is quite ill), and it took me a half hour just to catch up! You guys are amazing! The CIA should hire Adam's fanbase to hunt down international spies or something.
Adam looks tired to me, but what a good sport. I used to make that overnight trip to Europe all of the time, and I never learned to sleep on planes, so I'd get there, take a shower and hit a meeting. The jetlag was BRUTAL. Glad he's young and that he's not drinking, because alcohol makes it ten times worse, IMHO.
Thanks for all of your diligence and the pretties. Cheered me up a bit!

AhhhAdam @ahhhadam Fault Mag comment, from fault-magazine.com/2012/01/happy-… kvs.co/BLqB kanvaso.com/show/BLqBEVERYONE WE GREATLY APLOGIZE WE 10000% didn't realize this photo backdrop was of a concentration camp. Being of Jewish background myself was completely unaware. The picture will be changed out by ADMIN . Sincere apologies AGAIN! Well that's good. However, I saw the pic, and I didn't realize it was from a concentration camp. I thought it was a really great pic, very artistic, and really conveyed the concept of Tresspassing. I was surprised at the immediate and overwhelming response to it. Yeah, when that pic came to Adamtopia a number of months ago, most of us mods were shocked to realize that a huge number of people didn't recognize the background. At the time, I privately commented to the other mods that I didn't know whether to be happy or upset that the photo wasn't immediately recognizable anymore by a large segment of the population. And by the way I would like to retroactively thank everyone on ATOP that day who were immediately sensitive to the nature of that Photoshop once it was explained to them, who then helped to make sure that not only was it instantly erased on this site, but went around Twitter and explained what the problem was to (especially) the younger tweeters who didn't recognize what they were passing around. Thanks also to Q3 who actually contacted the site from whence the picture was taken, and told the operator what it was a picture of. The photo was unlabeled and apparently even they didn't know it was a pretty famous photo of Auschwitz. Thanks to everyone today for their rational response to an unknowing error that is also being taken care of appropriately.

His request was that fans join him in "giving up" birthdays, to instead to make donations to the Charity: Water organization rather than giving gifts. In a fan club message, he explained "It means that when people ask you what you want for your birthday, you tell them that you'd like clean water, and ask them to donate money, 100% of which will directly fund water projects. Wait until you see how amazing it feels, and together, I bet we can raise over a million dollars, which will bring thousands of more people clean water." (more)

Regarding the Sauli comments -- it is beyond me to understand why anyone would visit a blog to intentionally spew hatred. Keyboard courage, I guess.
ANYWAYS, made my morning radio requests! Sirius has three of Adam's songs "hard-coded" in their request page -- no write-in necessary. That's cool. Everyone else but one I had to write in. Oh well.
Downloaded my BD copy of BTIKM. Seriously love Adam's vocals on this song. After listening to Pop for the past few months, I just don't understand why he's not up there with the rest. It's as good as any song out there. I do like his live performances better then the recorded rendition but that is always the case with me.
Haven't made my contribution to Charity Water -- yet. Stubborn, I guess. Stupid me but I don't like being "asked" to give. We all know what Adam's charities are and if it was in our heart to donate on his behalf, I would think we'd just go ahead and do it. JMO. But, having said that, I know I'll donate -- because he asked. Doesn't make sense, does it?!
Sent my BD tweet out too. Last night when I went to bed Happy Birthday Adam was trending and was still trending when I woke up this a.m.
Cracks me up that Adam didn't realize he was going to a ski resort. I bet he does wish Sauli tagged along now that he sees all the snow. And, the worse possible gift he could have received is that spa treatment. He'll be running late now for sure. I wonder how long it will take his people to realize that he needs a Lane for these excursions.
Can.Not.Wait to hear what songs they'll be playing. Acoustic?! This will show us a lot about the band. Fingers and toes crossed for a great performance!

LOL! Thanks for the translation, and for translating Sauli's perfect responses to people concerned about the negative comments on his blog. I love his positivity. He could have chosen to screen out the hate comment, but instead he acknowledged it and makes his point that he doesn't let it get him down. Reminds me very much of Adam's way of handling things. They really are kindred spirits! I always remember Adam saying, "Don't give the haters any power!" Sauli is smart to let everyone see it! Kindred spirits indeed! I am amazed and thankful everyday for what ever force brought these two together!

Thank you so much for the translations.. I love our inclusive community I went and tried to read comments.. I don't normally.. but, am I missing something? I only saw 1 (one) nasty comment.. were there more in Finnish? Granted it was a rather long post.. but, it was still only 1...and of course still isn't right...but, it sounded like the whole comment section was filled with nasty... confused ETA..can't spell... back to catching up with Adam in Austria.. yay The rest of them were written in Google translate Finnish. I counted 6 comments that were not quite appropriate, and 7th that was just the translation of the text but the nick was "yeah right". That one didn't seem quite right either. I wonder what prompted S to pass these comments through this time and if he agreed on this with A. Smart responses from him, I especially liked "my life, my way". Sounds very much like Adam.
