Re: photo of Heidi Klum - its a very cute photo, both look great. But, why? Can you just sit next to him and put your arm around him if you wanted to show your closeness? I know straight women are very attracted to Adam, he is very sexy and has great charisma, I know they are friends. I think he is friends with her husband or something. But again, why? Give him some space. I always find it weird that Americans call Heidi only by her first name. Here in her home country she’s usually called „Heidi Klum“ or sometimes even only by her family name „Klum“. Just „Heidi“ sounds weird to me. However, she must really like Adam and if she likes someone… maybe she also had a drink too much,. 😉 By the way, it’s her husband’s identical twin (Bill Kaulitz). whom Adam is friends with. But the twins and Heidi do a lot of things together.

When you mention Oprah or even a common name like Simon, if you are a TV viewer talking to other TV viewers, it does not require a Winfrey or Cowell to clarify whom you are talking about... And Heidi Klum is up there with Simon Cowell on the judges table of AGT, so she is the top "Heidi" on people's minds when the name is mentioned. There could be other cultural and linguistic reasons for the difference, as English does not differentiate between "Du" and "Sie" the way German does, so native English speakers are "per Du" with everybody by default

Thanks! Thinking about it, it’s probably the latter. I would think that Heidi Klum is at least as well known here as in the US. Probably more. She has her own big TV show and is often in the media. I find it also interesting, that our media was never allowed to show pictures of her children. At one point I googled her and there had been lots of pictures in the internet. From the US… I don’t know exactly, why she moved to LA. But the Kaulitz twins did it. because they could no longer leave their house here without bodyguards. Fans were always waiting in front of their house. After one fan had climbed over the fence (and entered the house?), they decided to leave the country. Usually it’s absolutely not like that. But Tokio Hotel had been bigger than huge. They had lived in a smaller town (Berlin would have been different) and they had too many teenie fans, who were just nuts. That’s why quite a few of our biggest celebrities live in LA. There most of them can live like normal people. I think only Heidi is a big celebrity on both sides of the pond?
