My algorithm has a lot of Adam Lambert in it. Shock! Surprise! On yahoo.com I got this article/response to a Reddit question asking bodyguards who was their best and worst client. Before there is a ruckus, this comment is 8 yrs old, but it was “updated” with a new photo from Cannes, making it seem current. Which is why I clicked.
Does this sound like Adam to you? (See below) I know I risk passing on something not true, but this is such a breach of character, my mouth is still hanging open. Now that I’ve thought about it, it could be a homophobic remark because of the inclusion of “he put his arm on my shoulder.” Anyhow, since we all probably have clicked on anything Adam, this might possibly come up, so I wanted to point out the comment is 8 years old, and it is just one person’s possibly skewed perception. I’m still trying to figure out how a photo from Cannes got attached to this “article,” and as a warning to the naive like me, it is misleading, because it suggests it is current.
Worst: Adam Lambert...I never met or worked for someone so heartless and rude. I was asked to take care of his private security one night as a favor for his tour manager. He literally came up to me, put his arm on my shoulder and said " Unless you see a thousand people bothering me, stay the fuck away as possible."....I couldn't believe that someone I was asked to protect said that. I did my best to be professional and held every ounce of strength not to kill the guy myself. He purposely made my night a living hell.

The shoe-throwing thing reminds me of an old pre-Idol video of Adam singing in a very small club of some sort on a tiny stage. When he was finished, the audience, which was right up next to the stage, threw or placed their shoes on the stage in praise of the performance. I had never seen that done before till on this new show he just did. I never knew it was a "thing." Adam was so fun on that show.
As to the security guy's comment, it sounds totally out of character for Adam. Totally. And the source sounds suspicious, too.

Everything I’ve ever heard or read about Adam has never indicated he was a difficult person to deal with. Exactly the opposite. Remember Simon Crowell telling Adam he is the nicest guy in the business? It sounds like this person has some kind of agenda.

I agree the security thing seems totally out of character. On the other hand, it was 8 years ago and we don't know what Adam might have run into with security. We know he doesn't like them to really interfere with his fans. Plus the fact, this is text. I find many times writing something is very mis-leading as you don't know the tone. I could see he might have said something like that. Meaning he wanted his personal time and fans and the guy should keep a distance and not be his wing-man. Maybe the word "fuck" got to the guy, but we all know it is part of the regular vernacular. Almost every other adjective is that word. I also don't see why if that happened (questionable) why it would be such a big deal or make Adam the rudest person.

And I call total bullsh*t on the bodyguard story.
