Thank you, PI, for bringing over the concert goodies. I have to say, I very much prefer the original, Boy George version of DYRWTHM. The High Drama version isn't quite doing it for me. I keep listening to it, but I can't really get into it. I think I'm missing the beat and the music from the original. Anybody else agree? Or is it just me lol. LOL Now I never liked Boy George's version, but I love Adams's version!

Just wanted to bring this in.
President Biden @potus:
"I know that too many people in the LGBTQI+ community are worried and afraid about their future and their safety.
I want to send a message to the entire community – especially to transgender children.
You are loved.
You are heard.
You are understood.
You belong."

On first listen of the CD, I had the same reaction. After many listens, I discovered that I REALLY LOVE the former intro (which is now the middle) - "Give me time to realize my crime". I tend to skip to it on concert videos, and then listen to the rest and I like the experience. But on the CD, the whole song is too flat and repeating, so yeah, you are not alone. I had a similar issue with West Coast (which my wife really hates and I have to skip when playing the album in the car - Sex On Fire is her jam), but I very much like the live performances. I guess he should have done more than one take in the studio...

Thank you, everyone, who brought in Tweets of Adam's concert in Cologne. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Of course when I click on them and get on Twitter, I only see soccer/football players. Darn the musketter!
I've had Bee Glambert's spectacular audio on repeat!

Don't like West Coast at all...I suppose I should find the original and see if I prefer it lol.

Well, well... I find the DYRWTHM super boring in both versions, original and Adam's. I absolutely love West Coast, probably my top 3 favorite on this album, together with HOFTH and SOF.

Well, the good thing about any of Adam's CD's, there's always something for everybody. And no two CD's are alike...makes for an exciting playlist when you put them all together.

As you will discover if you google Lana Del Rey's video (or follow this link), she sings the verses through her teeth without opening her mouth too much. However, the slowed-down chorus is kinda mesmerizing, and I expected Adam to sing it in his newly found lower register. Instead, he went for the usual fireworks, so reality collided with my ideas for what would come. I shouldn't have had pre-conceived notions of what he would do, especially after he told us it would be a Led Zeppelin take on the song... After all, Robert Plant used to wail like a cat when he still could hit those notes
