AdamNews_de AdamNews_de RT @swr3: Der Termin mit @adamlambert wurde kurzfristig abgesagt. Er kommt diese Woche nicht zu uns, also auch kein Interview. I cannot read German -- can you translate? (Why can't Adam visit Italy? Or France? Or Spain? So I can understand what is going on. Finnish, Dutch, German = I need help!!) Are there any German or Austrian glamberts to translate it? Please, I need to know why that interview is cancelled :-/ :([/quote] Guys, we have translated all that is written. It does not say more. We can start inventing facts.... ??? Nope....not going to do that. But, I can tell you that SWF3 is not a good one to lose. I don't have any new statistics, but it is a radio station with a huge reach and at least in my days in Germany was #1 in the country. This is not one you bypass easily. The only (little) good news is: He saves quite a few hours of drive, Baden-Baden is out of the way. It is not clear from the sentence stated, whether the station cancelled or Adam's team cancelled. It does surprise me that they are not even doing a telephone interview. Another unrelated positive is: He is at Bravo-TV this morning. I presume this will be both interview for Bravo TV, as well as magazine coverage (#1 teenager magazine in the country).

How is the weather there? Maybe there will be travel delays... oh, I have not thought about that. But I just checked and could not see a reason to chancel an interview, that is supposed to be tomorrow, today. Its cold, today around 0°C, tomorrow a little bit colder, maybe snow in the night, but I don't think this would have been the reason for cancelling it the day before.

Are there any German or Austrian glamberts to translate it? Please, I need to know why that interview is cancelled :-/ :( craazy translated it. I thought it would be ok, to say shortly what it says. The next time I will translate the whole thing right away aralid, I am not critiquing you at all... a) we wrote at the same time b) once it was translated, people wanted more info from us, which of course we do not have, and I sensed a bit of a concerned attention to this message and people wanted to get a good sense of the tone in which it was portrayed, so I tried to capture that.

OMG!!! THIS MADE MY DAY!!!! What a song! What a reception - HE GOT THEM IN THE END!!!! RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!!! now... in this song I hear: 1) Funk 2) Rock 3) Country 4) Rap How is that possible? Is this new "Pop"? ( I skipped many pages to post, so may it was discussed already..) also, WHY is TREASSPASSING NOT the lead single? IT is MILES better that BTIKM IMHO. (ya.. rhetorical question at this point...)

I am so addicted to "Trespassing" right now. LOVE IT!! I can just see audiences stomping and clapping to it everywhere. It's perfect for montages for sports intros, etc.
Here's what I hear of mystery lyric:
My heart is gold, my body is lax ...
... which kind of doesn't make sense, unless he's kind of turning the word on it's side. "Lax" usually means not strict, severe or taught – generally undisciplined. However, as a shortened form of "relaxed," it can mean chill, loose, open (ready for anything) ...
It's definitely not rad to my ears. There is no R or D sound there.

Q3, it already posted. Look above your post. We typed at the same time. And, btw...independent of all language preference, I want Adam to go to Spain and Italy too and for many reasons. Trespassing is going to be a hit in every nightclub and bar around the Mediterranean. Can you imagine? And language has never been a problem in this fandom anyhow. We got translations from anywhere, China, Malaysia, Dutch, Greek, we got it all covered. Yes, saw right after I posted -- thanks. The Dutch for Q-Snowcase was really tough for me. No good online translator!! --- on Trespassing --- I am really bad at picking hits -- and there is more involved than just the track. A hit needs to have the right promotion and support on radio. I would love it if radio was irrelevant but it is not. Online buzz looks like it builds awareness but does not seem to drive sales. Radio airplay with high AI and repetition definitely drives sales. So if Trespassing is released as a single and promoted effectively and get radio PDs to support it, it will be a hit. There are many songs that Club DJs play a lot that have low, low sales. For example, Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" was a club hit before it was released to CHR/Top 40, started to sell and after 22 weeks became a #1 track. So an unknown artist can break through as a club artist first. (Madonna did the same thing in the 80's.) JMHO on Trespassing -- I love it and it is begging for a real dance remix. It IS the music I have been waiting 3+ years to hear from Adam. And it IS a track I am dying to own, give, promote, share, and hear over and over on my KISS station. Yes, this song should be a hit. And unless the folks at RCA are morons (and they are not), they know it is a hit. Since Adam performed this track -- it seems likely to be the next single. But there is also the yet-to-be heard Cuckoo.

tkradio toby knapp @adamlambert glamdimonium will ensue when they see these videos... bit.ly/ytz36c3 minutes ago Monday, January 30, 2012 ADAM LAMBERT: Videos And And More From The Weekend!Over the weekend, ADAM LAMBERT turned 30 and played at this Q MUSIC festival in AUSTRIA, and from the looks of it we can tell a few things: 1) It seems to be a kick-arse festival. 2) Their radio presenters have a bangin' live studio set up in the cold right outside which looks just pimp. 3) Adam Lambert is perfecting his live shows for a live club run in the US (MAYBE). Anyway, there are so many videos here from POPADDICTS. Check 'em out. (links to Q-Snowcase's BTIKM) Not sure if this was posted already, but the DC/VA/MD Glamberts celebrated Adam's birthday yesterday and a few of us Atop lurkers were in attendance. We gave Toby some love, as you can see from this photo which I tweeted to him (I don't know how to embed but I'm attaching the photo I hope). He tweeted back a nice response: tkradiotoby knapp finkfan that is so awesome love all of you thank you so muchAttachments:
