So no one else is getting a "Black Horse/Cherry Tree" vibe from Trespassing? Just me?

I like BTIKM. And it makes sense to me to have it the first single out months before the album. It resembles WWFM, the song that has the widest recognition factor, the song he got a Grammy nomination for. It's RCA's message: Remember this guy? Well, he is back! More new music to come! Frankly, musically and vocally, I think it is a better song than WWFM. A bigger range from low to high, soft to intense. It builds a stronger arc. Love the lush harmonies. And it can fit with HAC and top 40. Once the "pump is primed", then you give them the incredibly catchy, funky, new direction "Trespassing", just when the album is ready to drop. Zap! You got them. At least, that is my totally uninformed take on things. For me, it's all good. (Well, except for the "wait until March 20" thing. ) Not going to happen, unless BTIKM flops and flops hard over the next month. BTIKM is the single that RCA has picked for opening this second era. Even if it only makes it on HAC, they will ride it out until it peaks and heads down the chart (or charts). This song is the lead single for this album. We aren't going to get a new single release in six weeks unless BTIKM goes nowhere and THAT is the last thing we should want. Plus, who knows what the next single could be? It could be something that isn't even on the album yet. WWFM was one of the last songs added to FYE. Claude Kelly is working on a brand new song for Trespassing at this time. RCA may want more songs that THEY FEEL are Pop radio ready. Trespassing, the single, may not even be in the running for the next released single. You really never know about these things!

Via @adamnews_de: VOTE for ADAM LAMBERT to help him get in the European Charts! BRAVO LESER CHARTS ! <Germany>!... fb.me/1rUy6LNx6Given that Adam is at BRAVO today, please honor his visit with a vote here. You can only vote once a day, just click on BTIKM and scroll down to the bottom where it says JETZT ABSTIMMEN. That means: Vote now. It's that simple. Please note that Adam is right now one place 4 and the three in front of him are local, so he is the highest international artist on there, even before this Michel Telo guy, who is hot on his heels though.

Question on requesting. If I am traveling in another city on business and working on my laptop in that city, and I request BTIKM from the radio station I am visiting, my request seems to be coming from that city based on the IP address, right? And it IS coming from that city since I am there. Should I go ahead and request? The city is one of the places that has not played BTIKM for some reason.

It's amazing for me to see how differently we interpret Adam's music. And very difficult to decide which one opinion is the rightest - right now talking about Trespassing's resemblance.
