I am so overjoyed that we are fianlly starting Era #2. So much goodness to look at, read, and listen to. And Adam in that German interview? Looking all casual with minimal make up, jeans and a t-shirt.... "just a dude, just like you." Great look. Very appealing.
I have no worries about what is to come. Adam has said it many times. It is his dream come true. Bigger and better than he envisioned. He is at the top of his game. Making incredible music that HE wants to make. Working with the best in the biz. Executive Producer, no less --- which he must be very proud of since he mentions it in almost every interview. He is getting an impressive number of very positive reviews of his new music. He has a very nice home, a new car, all the music he can download, an Imelda Marco collection of medges. He has supportive, loving friends and family. He has a famously loyal fan base. He is traveling the globe flying first class and staying in the best hotels. He is deeply in love with someone who loves him and is good to him and for him. He is living a healthy lifestyle instead of self-destructing like so many celebrities.
I could go on and on, but, bottom line, Adam is successful and happy, and I am getting new music and many opportunities to see Adam perform and talk. Yup, all good.
I just got a phone call a few minutes ago that a former student of mine, an amazing, quirky, wickedly smart, caring, outgoing, slightly crazy, free spirit was killed while riding his motorcycle home from work. A woman was talking on her cell phone and made a left turn right in front of him. THAT is a tragedy. To lose such a wonderful young soul.
As long as Adam is happy and healthy and we get to enjoy him in whatever form that takes, I cannot do anything but embrace the moment and celebrate.
