Yeah, mythic is correct. Since the resurgence of Queen, thanks to Adam, Freddie has become bigger than he ever was, in my opinion. Yes, he could sing. But I don't think he was considered a "rock god" in his time.

But I don't think he was considered a "rock god" in his time. He was a great song writer, I'm sure, but Freddie was anything but a "great" singer. I agree, he's achieved god status since his death, and the resurgence of Queen's popularity has had a lot to do with it, thanks to Adam.

Has Adam's award been mentioned anywhere in the US? I know Nordoff Robbins event was in the UK, but Adam won the "International" award. It would be nice if it were mentioned, even a 5 second sound bite on a pop culture section of the morning shows, or a TMZ, or entertainment news kind of show in the US. Did I miss something, or is the US just ignoring him again. Adam's award was mentioned in Blabbermouth and Classic Rock Magazine then it quickly became mostly about Freddie. Probably because the red carpet interview was more interested in asking about Freddie than Adam winning the award. So the headlines were about Freddie and not about his award (which had nothing to do with Freddie, lol)

You can bet if it was something negative TMZ would have been right there. All the entertainment shows would have been there. And the pop culture portion of the tv shows would be there too. Sorry, I just find it irritating. The Freddie thing really gets to me too, so I won’t even go there, the post would be a page long LOL
