All I heard about Adam's award was that it for being part of a large fun-raising group. So he did his part. Other people got the same award. It's great that he got it, esp. since it's international. Woulda been nice to hear more about in the US. Excited to hear from Brian that the US tour will have a few new songs added and a new look! Gonna be at the first Chicago show on Oct. 30! Freddie had a really good voice, but I think his appeal was largely his over-the-top stage presence and antics. He was a master at all of it. His voice was distinctive and strong. That being said, Brian and Roger have both said that Adam can do things with his voice that Freddie never could. And Adam has more vocal endurance. Adam and Freddie are apples and oranges. Great, but different. You can enjoy them both. Yes, to each his own when it comes to voices. Music and taste are very subjective. But Freddie has had his time, it is Adam's turn to shine and I resent it that Freddie becomes almost the center of attention again and again. Even when it comes to Adam's award for Adam's philanthropy. I will be stoned, but I actually think Roger and Brian's attachment (if there is one and it is not just marketing to keep the Freddie widows and fans happy) to Freddie, who has been gone for over 30 years, could be considered a bit unhealthy. Although, these interviews and magazine artilcles have nothing to do with that. That's a different story.

Off topic but since the topic of managers was brought up today. I just watched the movie about Tina Turner. Roger Davies became her manager 2 years after leaving Ike Turner. He intrigued me so I googled him. He was with her for 30 years.
And holy crap… he is the same manager that Pink, and Cher have had for over 23 years. ( plus other folks) When a manager is the right one👍👍👌👌‼️
