Hi, I posted a question about i-tunes in yesterday's main thread, but I think it got lost in the squeeing! So I thought I would try here. From a thread conversation last week, I got the impression that it would not help for me to keep buying the song on i-tunes for myself. (I would be willing to buy it every day if I thought it would help!!!) So could someone clarify that for me. Also, I understand that to gift a song, you need another person's e-mail address. Does that person have to an i-tunes account? Thanks for your help.

Does that person have to an i-tunes account? Thanks for your help. Yes, you need an e-mail for the person you are gifting to and yes, they have to DL the song from i-Tunes. The sale does not count until they DL it. There is some magic number for how many singles i-Tunes will count as sales. But yes, you can puchase more than one. No one knows the magic number where they stop counting. Some think it is around 8. |

You can also buy the song off of amazon multiple times (although also, probably stick with under 8 if you want to be sure they count). More people pay attention to the itunes charts than the Amazon one though, that's why people focus a lot on buying off itunes. |

my s*&@^# Q102 shows 7 spins...Is that for the week? or daily? because I've only heard it twice yesterday. Just trying to figure out if they have played this song during the day and not just for "takeover" and out voting daily for request. It is for the week. Also, Chicago shows 6 so I think that may make it an auto adder next Mon/Tues, if I understand these things correctly. Is there a link to find the spins for a specific station per DAY? I think I saw that somewhere but can't remember where. Btw - I am happy with B104 (WAEB) right now. :D The brand new PD tweeted the BTIKM video clip and then PLAYED MY REQUEST & tweeted me that it was playing. This PD comes from Lancaster, which added BTIKM, so things are looking up right now! |

Jazz, I use saga's site, Adam in Radioland. Stardust usually posts the link every morning when she posts the numbers. It is an abbreviated chart, but it always has the spins for the Top stations. Where is stardust today, BTW?!
