Really love hearing the kind words and praise from the director of Fairyland. Sounds like Adam's first movie role is one that has been taken seriously by the filmmaker and Adam himself. It's clear that Adam has some natural acting ability. Hoppe this film leads to more roles. Love the promo for MATB. Just hearing Adam's voice in the background gets me excited to see it, finally! Hope it becomes available soon. Wonder what Adam will be up to between now and the first QAL show on Oct. 4. Hope he keeps us in the loop. Great to hear the director speak so highly of Adam's performance. Also want to see MATB and to hear Adam sing. Looking forward to QAL and their Formula 1 performance in Texas. He has had so much good and high profile career related stuff going on but always looking and hoping for more. And he said he loves being creative and busy so I don't feel greedy, lol. I think his animated series is to come out this year so would love to hear something along those lines. Haven't heard too much about him working on the rock and roll musical and album lately. But think he said it could be years. So I guess the album that goes with it will be years later too. I know he said he would release the album first but don't know if he could release it years before the musical. I think for award consideration they need to be attached. |

I just watched a documentary about Donna Summer -- "Love to Love You, Donna Summer." Similar to Adam, her career started in a production of Hair in Munich, but in 1968. She had been raised in the church and, like Adam, had a lot of new experiences and self-discovery in Germany. She also railed against the music industry and how hard it is on creative types -- always being pushed to produce another #1 hit and change yourself to sell more records.

lurleene, thanks for reminding me about a few other things on Adam's plate. I had forgotten about the Formula 1 performance in Texax. When is that happening? I also forgot about the animated series he talked about earlier. His voice work on the animated projects he has done has been excellent, IMO. Can't wait for more! Needless to say, he has a lot going on behind the scenes. Each project gives him more connections and more cred and more experience and more respect.
happy, thanks for the info on Donna Summer. I always liked her and thought she had a great voice. Sounds like she and Adam have had a similar journey in some ways.

She did have a great voice and she wanted to expand beyond disco, but that is not what the industry wanted. |
