I have always preferred male voices, too. Adam has really spoiled me. I've gotten a lot pickier since I've followed him. I like women's voices if they have some richness and fullness, like Whitney, and a few others. Those high, tinny, thin female voices don't sound good to me, even if I might have liked them well enough years ago. Guess my standards are higher now. I like Kylie's personality well enough. Seems like a good person who appreciates her fans and her success. She's been around for quite a while and has staying power.
All this being said, just having a really good voice is not the only factor in being a "good" singer. Even Adam once said, "It's not about the voice." Some of those really whispery, quiet singers are great, along with those tame, docile crooners, and of course those fabulous raspy-voiced rock screamers that I love, too.

Yep. She is big in Europe. She sings mostly pop/dance music and disco so a great or impressive voice is not needed to get people on the dance floor in the clubs and to buy her music, if that is your thing. I have always liked what I have seen of her personality. But like Madonna, tho hugely successful, her music does not resonate with me. Yeah, same here. I'm not big on women's voices, at all, but if I do listen to women singers, it's more along the lines of Whitney...big, powerful voices and singers. Lara Fabian is one of my favorites and the only female on my Ipod. In general, I prefer male voices, tenors specifically, like Adam, Mitch Grassi, Mario Frangoulis, etc. I don't get the club music at all, but that's probably because I've never been in a club in my life lol.So funny. I could dance and club with the best of them but at some point you sorta outgrow it. Or I did, lol. Maybe because I never lived in LA or NYC where things are different but I can't even imagine hanging out in dance clubs in late twenties or thirties. After college, I would attend some corporate mixers on Friday nights for young professionals from different companies and there was food and dance. And many were young gay professionals but they weren't wearing dresses or trying to look like teen girls in mini skirts. And later it was more about special events that were more formal and all the major players would attend and it was the event of the year to be seen. HA. But hanging out in clubs to dance music, no. I think that is why someone like Adele plays across generations and she wins awards cause her music is not all about dancing in the clubs. There is more substance to her work and young people still buy her music.

YOUR BASIC $2000.00 casual outfit. Makes him happy.... Tragic… Personally, I find silk hot. I mean sweaty hot. I can't imagine a summer outfit of silk. I would be dripping. To each his own!

Can anyone translate this? What is a "walk off"? What are "dolls"? ETA - From the Urban dictionary: walk-off A competition in which fashion models walk the runway or catwalk for the purpose of judging the model, not the clothes or fashions shown. Doll A trans woman. She’s cunt. She’s tall, pumped, snatched, goddess energy, everything you want to be and more. You could never. Ok, makes more sense now.

Marionm, I recognize the song, but not the voice. Maybe I've heard it sung by somebody else?
And boy, that gay culture lingo...literally a whole other language. I have no idea what they're talking about half the time.
