On the continuing sweater of angst theme, as I recall Adam initially wanted an unraveling sweater for his first Mad World performance - and now this. Clearly Adam associates isolation/loneliness with poorly treated woolens. (This must be remembered when the paper on 'Symbolism and Adam Lambert' is written. Hey, there were college courses on Madonna and I *may* have read an entire book of thesis papers about Buffy the Vampire Slayer.) LOL Mika. And also, I believe my husband owns and read the exact same book about Buffy! When we met he turned me into a Buffy fan and I watched all the seasons on DVD with him since. Buffy rocks!! OMG! I am such a Buffy freak! That show was sooo far ahead of its time!!! |

[size=20 Mayumi has announced a change in the listening party in Atlanta to 3/23-3/25. Between us we can sleep 18 people, possibly 20.
For those interested in coming let Mayumi know ( she can sleep 10, I can sleep 8, possibly 10)

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the mod on AO has posted this link in several threads, and did so again about half an hour ago. This is her post: 101.9 Chicago MixIt starts in one hour. Spins here are a priority right now, Glamberts. Please take time tonight to participate. I know it can make ya lose your mind, but most of us lost it a long time ago, so what's the harm?

I will help, Chicago would be great for him. The fact that FlashMod posted this 101.9 link in multiple threads on AO, repeatedly, makes me think non-locals can vote in this like for they can for Q102. I'm guessing if that changes she'll let us know. |

Quoting myself here, but this is the exact same setup as Q102. So if anyone's still up for more clicking of little green arrows, check it out. It's on now. And we got it played twice last night! It was much easier than Q102. We probably could have done it a third time but thought that would have been a bit much!! Actually fans voted it up to the top spot two more times yesterday (since several fansites are voting on this, they aren't always aware that it's been previously played) and it was kicked off the board (you had to re-add it) both times. We were guessing that there might be a two play limit on all songs. If so, we should definitely still try for a second play tonight, maybe in an hour or so? |
