Last night’s Only Connect (without doubt the most difficult quiz on television) had 16 words on the ‘wall’ that had to be connected into groups of four. The team had two minutes to discuss connotations of each word and for the word ‘Lambert’ the instant and only suggestion was ‘Adam’. (Wasn’t right though…it connected with words with baby animals in them…PUPil, LAMBert. Etc. ) But just shows how well rooted Adam is now in the Brit psyche.

Ihave been seeing several comparison pics of Adam back in 2009-2010 and 2023. I have to say, I always thought Adam was quite a handsome guy, really "model" looks. But, Adam in 2023 is stunning. To me he is better looking now than then. I love him with and without make-up. it looks like all the right genes fell into place with him.

This almost happened when Madonna and Gaga made comments in Russia in support of the LGBT Community. Then they left the country after the backlash ensued. When Adam came later, and was actually an out gay man, there were bomb threats for him and his fans. Thankfully, he was able to perform and show his support to his fans and the LGBT Community by being there as a gay man and performing. And they got out with no incidents. LGBT Malaysians blast the 1975 'white saviour stunt'
British pop singer Matt Healy's protest stunt at a concert in Malaysia has sparked fury from LGBT activists and allies in the country. Many have described the 1975 singer's sweary rant at the Malaysian government - and kiss with a male bandmate - as an act of "performative activism" that would make their lives even harder. Homosexuality remains a crime in Malaysia, punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Conservative Islam remains the dominant political and cultural force in the country, restricting sexuality, alcohol and other perceived threats to traditional values and "public decency" standards. In a statement after Friday's show, a source close to the band said Healy had wanted to stand up for the LGBT community. But many locals say he crashed a precarious political environment for LGBT Malaysians and caused greater damage. "As an international white artist from the UK, he has the privilege to come to Malaysia, say and do what he wants, and then leave without dealing with much of the backlash," said Dhia Rezki, an activist with Kuala Lumpur- based support group JEKAKA. "Unfortunately, the local activists are now having to deal with the fall-out and the potential policies and restrictions that might come from it." www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/lgbt-malaysians-blast-the-1975-white-saviour-stunt/ar-AA1ejUyg?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=a98cad10621d40d7b5c0430a24f5668a&ei=49
