LOL, what a party! I wonder how many actually made it home! Adam may have had many overnight guests....  I am not a NAS fan, so maybe it's why I feel this way, but I kind of resent him. He came out and thanked Adam (if I am remembering correctly) after he got a lot of blowback on the comment he made about what Adam did 15 years ago didn't compare to what he did. Meaning, he did more. Let's face it, NAS was not out until after his record became number 1 and the record was out for quite awhile. Then he thanks Adam and is now hanging around. I know Adam has mentioned he is impressed with him and has met him and I am sure he didn't crash the party. But, I kind of feel like he is trying to hang on to Adam's coattails and gain more fans. He just annoys me. Just my opinion. |

quackn, I understand what you mean about LNX. I remember him saying no other gays had done what he had done but don't think he singled out Adam. He was very cocky tho. Then some gay fans said what about Adam Lambert? And it was other gays who said what Adam did 15 years ago did not compare to what LNX was doing. I didn't see that LNX had said that but I was annoyed that he did not even mention Adam's role and was pleased when he did finally. Adam had been giving him many compliments. But it seems that every time a gay artist starts to get some attention, someone in the media will say Adam does not measure up. When Ada Vox appeared on Idol as a drag queen some publication said she was bolder than Adam Lambert. Why, because she dressed in drag? Well Adam is not a drag queen so why would anyone dismiss him because he did not compete on Idol wearing a damn dress? Just stupid. It was the same thing when Troye was making a little noise. It was he was bolder than Adam because he was slinking around, trying to look sexy, in a dress in one of his videos. Adam broke down a lot of barriers and took a lot of hits before these others even came along. And when did it become you are less gay or hiding you sexuality if you are not dressing up and presenting yourself as a woman or young girl? Most gay men do not want to be women or drag queens or act like women. Most are just attracted to someone of the same sex but they identify as men. So it should be okay if all gay men don't act overly effeminate or wear mini skirts or pretend or want to be women. Adam is who he is and his style and talent and the way he presents himself are more than enough and have served him well, imo.
