I can't belive Oliver has only been in the US for a year. It seems quite a bit longer to me. Probably because the first time Oliver had come to Adam in LA had been 2 years ago? From I think August 2021 until the end of January 2022 he studied at UCLA, as part of his education in Denmark. Then he went back to Copenhagen to finish the last semester of his bachelor studies (while he still managed to visit LA briefly two times in that spring). After the QAL tour and a vacation with Adam, they both traveled back to LA. And Oliver hasn’t left the US ever since. Yes, that's it. I knew he had gone back to Denmark to finish school, I guess the visits inbetween is what confused my time line. |

For the price of those sneakers I hope they are REALLY comfortable.
Interesting, I guess Adam knows Kate Beckinsale. I would never have guessed it. There was a posed photo of them together for one of the events (Pride, or Nordoff Robbins - one of the big ones - I don't remember which one) I remember thinking, it looks like a prom picture - LOL - Now, she attends Oliver's party and Adam attends her's. (I wonder if Oliver was there). Guess they are fairly friendly.

I don't know much about visas or green cards. My Canadian daughter in-law was here on a visa when she was studying to a doctorate at our state university. She was allowed to work for other colleges aligned with the master university (community colleges, for instance,) After they married, my son was her sponsor for a green card for permanent residency. The application may have been bolstered by the birth of our grandson and the d-i-l's hiring by a major international bank which requires her ability to travel. Prior to her receipt of the green card, she could not go outside of the US to attend work conferences. Nor she go visit Canada to see her family.
