Here is the thread for today. I'd put up a pic or article but there is nothing new to share

I think that's my favorite version...so emotional and so raw. Gives me goosebumps every time.
Can't believe it's been 7 years already.

I'll admit I was totally unfamiliar with WWTLF before I got to know Queen through Adam. It was a showstopper long before I was aware of it. It's one of the most spectacular power ballads I have ever heard. It makes my heart sing when I hear Brian talk about Adam taking the song to a level he had never heard before. Adam is truly a GFG.
Heard that Brian and Roger have been talking with the people who put on the huge Gloustenbury (sp) show. B ann R haven't wanted to perform there for years due to some political (?) issues they do not agree with. Someone here will clarify, I'm sure. Anyway, there seems to be at least a slim chance that QAL might perform there at the next big show. It attracts lots of big acts. We'll see.

Brian fell out badly with Michael Eavis, who owns the farm that houses Glastonbury, over the badger cull designed to get rid of Bovine TB. The cull is still in operation more than ten years laterā¦ Brian has always said āno wayā to Glastonbury but it would be amazing to have Queen headlining thereā¦just the most perfect set up for them. Even if itās incredibly difficult and very expensive to get tickets

I know I say this every time it comes up so forgive me boring onā¦. But I was thereā¦at the thrust barrierā¦with great friendsā¦(and red wine) It was just so gloriously moving and beautiful. Crystal clear night and crystal clear audio. The whole performance is perhaps my favourite QAL - especially with Adam looking and moving like such a gorgeous rock star.
