@lurleene mentioned yesterday some news about Demi Lovato. The article also mentioned, "Lovato’s split from Braun comes as she gears up for the release of a new album, Revamped, which will find her reimagining her old pop hits as rock songs. The LP arrives Sept. 15, and Lovato has already shared new renditions of “Confident,” “Sorry Not Sorry” (featuring Slash), “Cool for the Summer,” and “Heart Attack.”
Reimagining songs -- kind of sounds like what Adam did on High Drama, except that these are her songs. Just thought it was interesting. Adam did mention how much easier it is to get "new" music out to the fans when the songs are already well-known.

happy . I think there are a good number of Adam’s own songs that could be (slightly) reimagined and rereleased by him. Over the years, some great songs hardly saw the light of day or didn’t get released as singles for all sorts of tactical reasons.

I agree...and would that be a legitimate way for him to re-claim some of the songs he released but got no label push and is no longer associated with??? I can easily think of a whole album that could be really rocked up to great advantage...Perhaps some of those could be salvaged as "new" and "singles" .... surely if you can reimagine someone else's stuff, you can do the same to your own!!

I agree with all of you. Adam has some great songs that hardly anyone but his fans got to hear. And unlike Demi's songs that were hits, they would be unknown and rather new for the most part. And who can better belt a beautiful ballad or rock out and seem authentic than the edgy Adam Lambert, the "Idol rocker" and Queen frontman? Not to be biased and everyone can do what they want but Adam would be more believable and I would rather see him rock than Demi, Dolly and Carrie. HA. Kelly and Carrie's last albums did not do so well so they are re-releasing them with a few new cuts. Adam's Velvet comes to mind with several worthy cuts and a few older gems from other albums that never got a chance and could be reimagined as rock songs.
