I don't think he said anything about the Madonna video. That JAMESINREHAB tweeted some quotes from his interview with Adam and he said this: JAMESINREHAB JAMES INGHAM "Madonna is a genuis, I absolutely love her but whether she is still relevant we are about to find out." #adamlambert Perfectly honest and totally correct observation by Adam.. No offense to Madonna. Yep. I have LOVED some of Madonna's past mv's - I think she's had mv's that were beautiful, original, inspirational, etc. The clip of her new one (a VERY short clip) that I saw on AI last night didn't do much for me, but I think - because I am her age - I was really looking for some kind of new "take" or idea. JAMESINREHAB JAMES INGHAM To answer a few of your Adam Lambert questions: "No idea on 2nd single, out of Tresspassing, Cuckoo, Naked Love & Never Close Your Eyes." :D Never Close your eyes is the Bruno Mars song !! I really hope Adam chooses between Trespassing and Cuckoo. I don't even know why I feel so strongly this way since I've only heard Trespassing (which I LOVE) but I do! I didn't listen to the Bruno demo but I want Adam to have one his songs be the next single. |

OMG that video is so fantastic-- I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the deeper interpretations, love just watching how gorgeous all three Adams are. Dark Adam is so bad, but I can't tear my eyes away-- tormented and angry and destructive, he mocks Light Adam but he keeps watching him, putting on a show for him. Everything on that side is cold and sharp and dark. No wonder he's miserable, lol. And Light Adam is nice and sweet but almost ridiculously so. Drinking tea and sweeping with his silly broom and meditating-- it's just too perfect. No wonder Dark Adam mocks him and refuses to come over. But neither of them are satisfied and both of them are trapped in these small rooms with a shared oxygen supply. I love the symbolism of the pomegranate. The story of Persephone is partly about finding balance, but in this video, Dark Adam seems to destroy that possibility. He doesn't seem to care that the fire he creates will destroy him. It's only when he realizes it's killing Light Adam that he has a moment of compassion. And in a final act of destruction, he breaks the glass wall that separates them. I think it's meaningful that it's Dark Adam that brings them together. You can't "master" or overcome the dark side by sheer will-- the dark side must be acknowledged and accepted. And finally Balanced Adam is out walking free! And walking past a No Trespassing zone-- ready to go wherever he wants to go-- bringing his whole self to the journey. I'm totally in love with this vid. My favorite of all of them, and it really makes me love the song more. I'm so happy!!!! Wow! Beautiful!! I think you hit the nail on the head. I can not think of one more thing to say other than I love this video!! The 2 different colored eyes at the end and the yellow "No Trespassing" tape= PERFECT! |

As regards the air canisters- I think they were looking for some way to show the connection between the two rooms/Adams. Could have been something umbilical or something like this shared air supply.
Not that we wouldn't know anyway but maybe it was a clear effort to make even the most dense person see- maybe they thought folks wouldn't get why light Adam is passing out because of a fire next door, LOL.

Yuck on the Madonna vid and song. Chick needs to retire already. Of course I've never ever been a fan of her music, but that was really crap - IMO of course.
