I personally think Simon will promote his winners from the UK, heavily, on this year's X-Factor. But, X-Faxtor is on FOX and their record label is Sony, so I could see Adam appearing. He's done X-Factor outside the US, so why not the new one in the US? It'd be perfect timing for Adam's new album too. Actually, now that I think about the Sony connection more, I am going to predict that Adam will definitely be on X-Factor! Because when push comes to shove, it's all about money and Simon Fuller wants Adam to make money! ^^^^^^ THIS!!!!!!! Also, Simon C. always said he thought Adam should have won AI and that he would be an international star, which Adam now is! X=Factor appearance would be huge win for everyone! Plus, will conicide with Adam's new album, perfect timing for an appearance to promote new single, unless Adam is already touring, but, hey, maybe he could fit it in? |

Q3, I asked this question earlier in the thread and it fell on deaf ears: "I thought Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller had differences. I was thinking that Adam wouldn't do a guest performance on USA X-Factor out of loyalty to Fuller and 19M. Am I missing something?" I am intrigued by the Fuller/Cowell on-again off-again relationship. Do you know what the status is now? I am only asking because other posters mentioned the possibility of Adam having a guest appearance on X-Factor in the future. Would the "feud" keep Adam from appearances? Or is the media playing up the animosity? Fox is airing both shows--are they all in cahoots together to drum up interest in both shows? Is it realistic to think Adam would guest on X-Factor in the future? In the meantime, I couldn't be happier about the upcoming Idol spot, and I too wondered if Brooke's tweet had something to do with dancers being a part of the performance. If so, it would be beautiful. While we wait for Q3's answer, I'll just spitball a couple of ideas. I'm not up on the latest Simon v. Simon, so I don't know if there's any REAL animosity there or it's just a former-partners-become-rivals situation. I've seen speculation on Twitter that Cowell won't have Adam (or any other 19 client) perform, but my gut is that is rather ridiculous. I mean, ratings are ratings and Idol has had performers from every label on its shows. Cowell has always struck me as a businessman above all else and maybe it's his ability to say exactly what's on his mind without sugarcoating it which causes me to think he's not the type to hold grudges. It kind of seems counterintuitive to his personality which is very much, "Say what's on your mind and be done with it." Also, since the X-Factor winner will go to Sony; there is a definite stake for Sony/RCA performers there. |

I will not be home for the AI performance Thursday....trust me I've tried to figure out if I could get out of my commitment but I can't. Of course I'll record it & I have my iphone, but I'll truly miss all the real time flailing. *Sigh* LOL bet my prolonged and frequent absences from the table will become a part of the conversation! IDGAF!!! Just tell them you have a case of Montezuma's Revenge ;D |

Thanks Mys*&@^#r, Mahalia, and Susie for your input. I can't seem to keep up with the behind the scenes politics, but I do agree that, when push comes to shove, the all mighty dollar usually wins. I am all for Adam getting as many opportunities as possible to showcase his many talents!
