(NEW YORK – NY) – AMERICAN IDOL Season 8 runner-up, global superstar and Grammy nominee, Adam Lambert will be returning to the AMERICAN IDOL stage on Thursday, March 10th to perform an acoustic version of “Aftermath”. AMERICAN IDOL airs on FOX from 8:00-9:00pm live ET/tape-delayed PT.

Immediately following Lambert’s performance on AMERICAN IDOL, a remix of “Aftermath” (remixed by Billboard) will be made available on AdamOfficial.com with part of the proceeds going to support The Trevor Project.

Adam Lambert will return to the "American Idol" stage next week, as the season 8 runner-up will perform an acoustic version of his song "Aftermath" during the results show next Thursday (Mar. 10).
Following the performance, a new remix of "Aftermath," courtesy of pop producer Billboard, will become available on Lambert's official website.

"Billboard turns the song into a fresh new dance pop anthem to blast on the radio and in the clubs!" Lambert says of the producer, who co-produced Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me." Part of the song's proceeds will support crisis intervention organization, the Trevor Project.

The acoustic performance on Thursday's episode will likely strike a different chord than Lambert's official return to "Idol" last season, which was highlighted by an epic, laser-soaked performance of "Whataya Want From Me."

If you are posting about Adam News and it happens to be about Idol, it belongs here. But if your main topic is your AI10 favorite or to discuss what you think of the judges or about the AI10 competition or so on, merely throwing in Adam’s name does not make it Adam News.

If you want to comment on AI10 in general, there is an AI 10 thread in the Members Only section.

The 81 news articles from the past 2 days about Adam and James Durbin confused many posters. If the post was about Adam tweeting that James and he had different styles – OK in Adam News. And if the post was about James saying he was not Adam 2 in an interview – OK in Adam News. But if the post is about James belonging on AI10 Top 10 or that you like James, it is not by any stretch Adam News.

The mods and I do not really want to spend time deleted Idol posts from Adam News. And Members read the Adam News to read about Adam. So put the Idol comments in the Idol thread and leave the Adam News for Adam News.
