Adam shared a couple of posts re the situation in Israel, and while his intentions are good, I believe he isn’t fully informed. I agree whole-heartedly with the notion that one atrocity should not lead to another, but the post that was shared here states as a fact that fleeing Palestinians were bombed by Israeli forces. That has not been corroborated, and there is another theory that says the road had been boobytrapped by Hamas, as they are known to do. It is sad that a post which presumes to bring clarity, recites what could amount to Hamas propaganda. I hate to bring politics to this board, but this post, like all others I’ve seen, does not offer an alternative and better course of action. Adam also reposted an ultra orthodox Jew saying how Jews and Arabs had always lived peacefully side by side, until Zionism came along. While it may be so, his underlying conclusion is that Zionism is bad and Israel should not exist. He’s part of a section of the Ultra Orthodox that believe Israel should only be resurrected at the coming of the Messiah. I am so glad that Brian "fixed" the STL thing. It has been an awkward moment for a long time. I kept wanting Adam to sing along with the audience on that last "looove" just so keep the whole thing together at the end. But the audience was left floundering and it never sounded very strong. Good for Brian for speaking up at giving the song the finale it deserves. I love that song. It's a real show-stopper!
Been home with COVID for about a week. Glad I got it now instead of in a week or so. My QAL show is Oct. 30. I know I will be healthy by then!
