Nica575, your comment re Adam reminds me of a comment on a QAL FB post the other day (I think it was about appearance yesterday). Somebody commented that they wouldn't pay any $$ to see Queen because it was just a tribute band at this point, and somebody else answered that Adam moves so much on stage to disguise the fact that his voice doesn't have any power behind it and he can't hit the notes (something to that effect). I actually laughed out loud at that...usually the comments annoy me, but that one made me laugh. Noreaster, can you explain why you think the appearance yesterday was "uncomfortable"? I wasn't sure what you meant by that. Are you sure they weren't talking about Freddie? He would run a lot on stage to disguise the fact he could not hit the notes he hit in the studio, while Roger would actually hit them for him. I am being snarky, but that's what I have seen in concert films... |

Must admit I'm not a Freddie fan, nor had I even heard of Queen before Adam...just tired of the idiots trolling Adam on any and all Queen posts. Although I have to say, the positive comments over the last few years FAR outweigh the negatives. He has definitely made great progress in convincing the general public that he's more than up to the job of being a part of Queen. As Brian and Roger have known from the beginning. |
