Thx for the comments. Yes, I was a dolt and didn’t realize the delay also became a gate change. I got the msg from United about the delay, but didn’t get the text about the gate change until after the flight left. Lucky for me on Nov 1 JUST TODAY, they added another flight to Idaho Falls (not exactly a thriving regional airport) and I got on that flight—otherwise it would have been spending the night in Denver for me! I do block things out when I’m at an airport. Or concentrating on something else, because I had to travel a lot for my job, and as I age (gracefully or not depending on one’s point of view) I’m less tolerant of crowds and noise and tight spaces. I live in my head anyhow, so going deeper in to try to project myself out of a stressful situation makes me susceptible to errors like today. How did I not notice the lack of activity? Don’t know, but I could have wound up in Bozeman, MT. I may need a keeper the next time I travel..
I did not mean to imply any animosity among the gang at all. It was just a feeling I had. I guess I anticipated Sir Bri might be careful how much demanding solo time his body/hands can take. I picture his hands wrapped in towels full of ice after every show.

And I do the same thing when I'm stressed. Hubby says he can always tell when I've had enough because I "disappear" and check out. Glad you made it home, or at least are on your way. Thank you for the recap!

Flying is so stressful now -- there just seems to be a lot more flight and gate changes. I sometimes wonder if that is partly as a result of people have cell phones. All this instant communication seems to allow for much more last minute change of plans!! I also wonder about Brian's hands and Roger's wrists! I wonder if they have a physiotherapist travelling with them.

Don’t know why this has morphed into comments about animosity and defending Adam’s contribution as front man….( shouldn’t have put in about Brian forgetting to mention Adam - it was just an irritant to me that night)
I’m sure all is well between them…in fact, it all works beautifully. Adam and Brian (and Roger) are a match made in heaven and there is no one else in the world who could have given Brian and Roger the chance to be such rock stars again.
Simply that I, and others here and in my ‘real’ life have commented on the increasing prominence of Brian’s presence in the concerts. The videos give snapshots The whole, live show gives an overview of the dynamic - and it’s just an observation.

SophieB LOL well this is an Adam fan site and if we're really passionate, we probably think Adam should be the focus of everything! Also, you know when someone you know is so modest and unassuming, you really want to push them into the limelight and get them the attention you think they deserve! Thank you for sharing your observations. You have seen a lot more live shows than I have. And when I was at a live show, I remember thinking I wanted to see more Adam on the big screens. Watching videos, I know I skip the ones that aren't Adamcentric! LOL.
