We are talking about radio 1 here which is very important for Adam to break thr'. What happen to radio2 ??? What about the excitement that Shoshanna Stone tweeted about this morning ???. Radio 2 won't play Adam in a million years, it's mostly easy listening soft pop/rock, classics, country, soul...

I don't expect the UK to embrace Adam BEFORE his single becomes a big hit in the US. Anyway I'm posting these tweets but I'm calm about it. I'm not suprised. I've said before that, the BTIKM style isn't very popular over here right now. It's mostly uptempo at the moment: lots of house, dance pop, R&B.. energetic "feel good" music dominating the charts and radio. Nothing popular over here really sounds like BTIKM at the moment.. Cuckoo or Naked Love, going by descriptions, sound like they would be a smash over here and get to radio easily. I don't think Adam will break the UK with BTIKM at all.. Does Adele sound dancey or feel goodish.. her music makes Adam's BTIKM sound like a happy tune

Does Adele sound dancey??? Nope. But I haven't heard her on Radio 1 for a while and her singles have dropped out of the charts.

Radio 1 .. IMHO It took them quite the time to accept RocknRoll,to accept Queen, now legendary.they seem to be rather snobish. Is this the only place that Adam could be heard??? They are not snobish IMO. They support their own artists and there are A LOT of them coming from various shows. Just like the US does for idols etc. You probably never heard of many of the artists that are being played on the UK radio now, and the majority of the UK people never heard of the idols that are being played in the US. But Radio 1 is not the beginning or the end of everything. JMHO.

[quote author=bertiebotts board=daily thread=705 post=17 When he had left they said that BTIKM was very good and that Adam sang high. They really like him and I don´t think Adam was offended by the penis question at all. You could hear him laugh. I think he´s fed up with the make-up- and "granny fans" questions and would prefer talking Trespassing most of all, but doesn´t mind a penis thrown in here and there.

In light of Radio 1 not adding...( cross fingers for a future time) www.mediauk.com/article/32695/the-most-popular-radio-stations-in-the-ukI was keen to determine which stations draw, ie the status of these stations... it is a BBC which is a huge impact on numbers reached. This morning someone wrote about what Adam said about lack of play in the UK in an interview ... miscommunication and ???. (now keen to remember the other word...have to go back to check that out..) BUT it seems it is more than just that, if he is working his fanny feathers off. Just cause I am lazy... did Adam meet and interview with Radio 1??? (in our thread it seems Signal 1 for sure and did the Chart showcase invite them???) Oh so many questions!

I just feel sick over this.Adam has worked so hard to get their respect and the reviews from England have been outstanding. I feel like crying in my coffee. It seems as though Leyton is saying if the BBC1 doesn't ad him now they never will.. sounds so finite.

Who is this LeytonB person? Does she know everything (or ANYTHING) about RCA and their plans for BTIKM, Trespassing, future promo and additional singles. Does she work for RCA? Adam's promo team? Does she somehow know the bottom line at Radio1? Does she know that Radio1 will not add this song or any others that come after this one? Does she know if RCA has a plan to perhaps push and release another single to the UK in the next month or so if this doesn't work? Perhaps RCA knows that BTIKM is a long shot in the UK going in! Sorry, but this drives me crazy!!! >:( When we take some person's tweets, who doesn't know a thing about the big picture or doesn't work for Adam's team, and we run with it like she is some kind of expert! Or does she have one of those special crystal balls? :

NewNowNext NewNowNext NOW: Adam Lambert Should Host ‘X-Factor’ logo.to/yeY3pm 7 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply www.newnownext.com/adam-lambert-x-factor-host/02/2012/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitterNOW: Adam Lambert Should Host ‘X-Factor’ Well all know Simon Cowell and The X-Factor went on a firing spree and discarded Paul Abdul, Nicole Scher-whatever-her-name-is-it-no-longer-matters and host Steve “not Ryan Seacrest” Jones. But we have a little, itty, bit of advice for our V-neck-loving critic: choose your next steps wisely. With The Voice bringing in huge ratings after the Super Bowl and American Idol continuing to draw big numbers, the pressure is on for The X-Factor. We think it’s time to introduce a new, younger host in to the mix and Adam Lambert would be perfect. Think about it. The singer has already himself taken part in a singing competition watched around the world, and is still quite the fan favorite for many. more
