Really disappointed about Radio 1, but I honestly don't get why they went with BTIKM. All the UK buzz was about everything else except this song.
Anybody know, did Radio 1 add Kelly's MKIA?

In light of Radio 1 not adding...( cross fingers for a future time) www.mediauk.com/article/32695/the-most-popular-radio-stations-in-the-ukI was keen to determine which stations draw, ie the status of these stations... it is a BBC which is a huge impact on numbers reached. This morning someone wrote about what Adam said about lack of play in the UK in an interview ... miscommunication and ???. (now keen to remember the other word...have to go back to check that out..) BUT it seems it is more than just that, if he is working his fanny feathers off. Just cause I am lazy... did Adam meet and interview with Radio 1??? (in our thread it seems Signal 1 for sure and did the Chart showcase invite them???) Oh so many questions! Logistics.. there was a whole volcano issue back then.. and probably other aspects we are unaware of.

Leyton Bracegirdle is the manager of Chart TV/dance Nation TV in the UK and music channels across Europe, he loves Adam and supports him. He heard six of Adam's songs from Trespassing and found them amazing. Maybe RCA should release a different and up beat song from the new album. I hope it's not miscommunication for the second time.. Yeek

They are not snobish IMO. They support their own artists and there are A LOT of them coming from various shows. Just like the US does for idols etc. You probably never heard of many of the artists that are being played on the UK radio now, and the majority of the UK people never heard of the idols that are being played in the US. But Radio 1 is not the beginning or the end of everything. JMHO. Well we accept lots of British artists and always have.. I just feel sick over this.Adam has worked so hard to get their respect and the reviews from England have been outstanding. I feel like crying in my coffee. It seems as though Leyton is saying if the BBC1 doesn't ad him now they never will.. sounds so finite. US accepts a lot of British artists and UK accepts a lot of US artists. I never said anything about accepting the Brits in the US. This has nothing to do with acceptance. I simply stated the facts. And about Adam and working hard, Robbie Williams worked hard to get the respect the Brits believed that he should have gained in the US (and I believed that too) and never made it big. It is what it is. I am still remaining calm. Too early to panic.

There is a short mention of Adam in the videotext of our German music channel VIVA today! I made a screenshot of it! It's taken from the "Daily-Star"-Interview about the Queen rumors. It says that Adam will probably join the band for a few concerts. He says he will pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing their great songs and that by this means the music and its energy will be kept alive for the fans and that Freddie would be proud of it!

I just keep thinking that Adam can't be put in a neat little labeled box. I really think that some of these supposed radio experts don't know where to put Adam. He's making his own path and it's a hard up hill climb but he's making great music and we'll get to see him perform for us on Tour and hopefully with Queen again and that's good enough for me. He will get the success he so well deserves but the time line can be a b*tch! 8-)
