Oh, this is awesome...I loved her interviews with him...she's just so knowledgeable about music. Will bookmark and check it out tomorrow. It's raining like crazy for the next several days, so this is perfect timing. Thanks, PI!! |

for some reason I cannot delete this text… I was trying to insert the vid.. and this showed up …so sorry…
I turned on the TV to see what was on AFTER GETTING BACK FROM A HOLIDAY. I THOUGHT ….WOW… HE IS SOOOOOOO DANG CUTE…..AND THAT VOICE.SO from Satisfaction THEN ‼️to total Satisfaction NOW‼️ I never knew or tuned in to view A Idol…so missed Season 1 …but learned of season 2 from by Brother/ Sister-iin-Law when on a holiday with them in Orlando Florida, USA. Season two was under way and we had to be back at the condo to watch Reuben and Clay. When back at home I watched to the finale. However, over the years I would catch a show in the next seasons if channel surfing. That is how I landed on the top 13 show. Channel surfing, again it was after a holiday. I missed the previous episodes. But watched with excruciating anxiety and anticipation EVERY show of that season.

Would see some of the contestants on those ET type shows but was never interested in what I saw. Then I saw some effeminate overweight gay man being interviewed on CNN and he was making fun of Adam and making sure everyone knew he was gay, gay, gay, and treating him as a stereotype to be laughed at. Wondered why he would treat one of his own as a joke (found out later he did not know Adam personally but for whatever reason he did not want him to win). Then I saw Bill O Reilly trying to take him down. So I thought, gosh I hope that guy can sing cause they are trying to make sure no one votes for him. I was stunned when I tuned in and saw Adam singing Tracks of My Tears. He was so talented, handsome and sexy. He looked like a movie star and that smile, when the judges talked to him, was killer. WTF, why was that dude on CNN trying to make him out to be some joke or gay stereotype? And why was O'Reilly trying to act as if Adam did not belong on the show? Of course, then I had to go make to look at everything I had missed. He was just fantastic. When he performed A Change is Gonna Come I could feel the pain. When he lost, I worried that he would feel rejected. But he handled everything with such poise and grace that I quickly knew there was nothing to be worried about. So I just hung on for the ride. And what a ride it has been. HA. |

I never watched AI until Season 7. My sisters watched but just thought it was probably dumb. But I decided to give it a try. S7 was the year of the Davids and a few other who I thought were just fine. Anybody could have won and I wouldn't have cared one way or another. But I decided to watch the next season, SEASON EIGHT. I settled in, just like the year before, with no big expectation. And then POW! This guy with the black punky hair showed up, sang BoRap, and from then on, I couldn't take my eyes off him. He just got more and more interesting and captivating every week. I was hooked and never looked back.
BTW, my sisters really like Adam, too, but never became committed fans. I occasionally tell them what he's doing, but not often. They went to the first QAL show in Chicago and liked it a lot. I love sharing my passion here. It's a real education!
