Adam looks GORGEOUS! Does anybody know the history of Teo Torriate (sp) ? I don't think I've heard it sung before. It's beautiful though.

Adam looks GORGEOUS! Does anybody know the history of Teo Torriate (sp) ? I don't think I've heard it sung before. It's beautiful though. Teo Torriatte was written by Queen (well, actually by Brian) after their first tour in Japan in 1974. They hadn’t been that big in Europe or America yet, but the fans in Japan had welcomed them like real rockstars. The band was completely overwhelmed by all the love and fell in love with Japan. Freddie had lots of furniture and other things from Japan for instance. And Brian wrote this song, which Queen has always played in Japan, to give some of the love back to the people from Japan. By the way, Teo Torriatte was always played by QAL in Japan, too. Brian did it in 2014, 2016 and 2020 as part of his acoustic section, right after or before Love Of My Life. QAL 2014 youtu.be/NIDUjMgnwV4?si=AOEytw5oLh7xy38b Japan even used the song during their Opening Ceremony of the Olympics 2020 (I remember THAT big surprise!). It shows, how much Japan loves this little song. youtu.be/Rbcg7zvCJio?si=vXLP-F6e4ADVAqL2The original record from 1976 youtu.be/Ge18n2JCwBs?si=B9pv5mXtZhAzCktsAnd one last one: Queen performing the song live 1979 in Tokyo. Because it’s an excellent video for its age! youtu.be/WDynFluHPJs?si=_wYXOEggQvlCrYlT
