Haven't watched it all yet, but I noticed a few glitches with timing, chords, etc. Typical for the first show after a long time between performances. I imagine they are kicking themselves and running thru the "oops" before the next show. Brian's face looked tired at times. Like it was a strain. But he hung in there! Adam's voice sounded even better in his lower register. And such a range from soft and tender to intensely powerful. Not having watched live performances by QAL in a while, I forget how exceptional Adam is. I listen to a lot of performers on YT, and then I hear Adam. In another realm of unreality. Amazing. I'm currently enduring latest season of Australian Idol auditions (though not for much longer I fear as antics and filler around the singers is way over the top). Adam is always my palette cleanser. When the flat notes, mumbling and over singing histrionics become too much I flick to Save me or My Attic or really anything Adam has sung over the past 15 years. He is a category of one. Always the consummate pro and without a bum note anywhere. Just listened to World we Created from last night - gorgeous. Teo was a hot mess but by next show they'll likely figure it out.
