Ohh, come on..... are we really comparing Adam to Pavarotti? Adam is not an opera singer. We have a critical review from an opera director and singing coach which is really outstanding. I don't prefer one over the other. I am not an opera buff, but to compare Adam to Pavarotti singing opera doesn't seem realistic. Do we have Pavarotti singing rock? If you only read the title and didn't actually watch the video I encourage you to watch it. His summation at the end is actually very good. He is not at all dismissive of Adam. |

I really liked the vocal coach's reaction to Adam and Pavarotti. He definitely recognizes Adam's natural gifts when it comes to opera. And we do know that Adam took opera lessons, teaching him some valuable technique. This guy seemed to like Adam's ND a lot, saying that his voice was so smooth and effortless. And, unlike P's, Adam's performance was a bit more spontaneous. This guy saw great talent in both singers. I enjoyed his comments.

TY to all those who have been posting Adam and QAL information, pictures, and performances. I have been away for quite awhile. Checked in now and then to stay connected with Atop and see what is going on with everyone. Life can always throw a curve ball and disrupt the best laid plans. Missed the most recent US tour for QAL but could enjoy thanks to all those who posted video and recordings of the shows. Am looking forward to new music from Adam and his many other ventures planned for 2024, being more active on Atop and hoping Adam will have a solo tour!! sometime in 2024.  |

I actually did watch the video. If my post sounded I thought he was dismissive of Adam, that was unintentional. I just feel that comparing singers that sing totally different types of music doesn't make sense. it's apples and oranges. I love Adam and I thought his interpretation of Nessum Dorma was outstanding. |
