Guys I have to say that everytime I come here and see post after post saying: I'm whacking it good guys! I'm busy whacking it! Looks like it's time to whack it! Whack it nice and hard for me! Well....I giggle like a 12 year old boy. For THE LOVE OF GOD can we call it something else? LMFAOOO. IS NO ONE THINKING ABOUT THE CHILDREN!?!?! LOL!!! That's why I call it clicking! Someone's gotta think of the children!!! I'm exhausted after making my way to the end of this thread! I followed some of what was going on on twitter throughout the work day when I could. I had all kinds of thoughts and feelings and had composed some of them in my head to spew, but after wading through this thread with a nice glass of wine and a yummy dinner, not to mention that wonderful, wonderful 18-minute interview, I'm back to where I was this morning when I left for work--in a most positive space loving every minute of this journey that has captivated my spirit. Adam seems so happy and at peace and so joyful and proud about his body of work. What more can I as a fan ask for? I'm there to support it all however I can. |

wow! WHAT A DAY!!!!! I has to super-speed scroll to get at least some idea of what went down.... how many interviews???? I did watch the 19 mins one with my mom who is her mid- 80s - she loves BB! Her main reactions (as usually) is : " Adam is super smart!" I also showed her the Berlin drawing - she could not stop talking about the imagery and various influences and styles... I do remember that Adam said he is not going to the Grammys, but I have to assume that this radio-speed-dating is different - obviously a MUST DO at this stage of the promotion. The set-up looks tedious and tiresome, but BB is the best at this ;D Re the angst towards the first third of the thread: I agree with Q3 - this single needs to be behind us. I perceive it not as "cousin" to WWFM but as a TWIN. It does not draw attention in any way, and unless one is into Adam's vocals (like many of us here), there is virtually nothing to hang onto there. My DD's reaction after watching the Leno performance was (verbatim):" crazy hair and a boring song.." - I do agree actually. The video is amazing! and not because of music but because of Adam's acting and a very, very cool concept - it seems that the YT reaction is in line with the visual excellence... Having said all that about BTIKM I am totally, like 1000%, feel with every fiber of my being that the album will be a HUGE success! So no angst from me at all...the day will come and he will be flying up those charts ! I am sure the next single is coming very, very soon - may be even before the album drop? scrolled super fast over KA's related posts - can't care less... Does anyone know when Adam will land in NYC? I like to "breath the same air"... I did not "enter" any radio lotteries due to lack of time, so no reason to take someone else's chance away...it was so very hard to stop myself from "automatically" clicking and trying for it  QUEEN situation - WHAT A WIN!!! and the whole secrecy makes it even more interesting to the media and the public in general! Thank you for the links to All the interviews :D, I love, love, love listening to Adam talk! Do not care when the album is released, I will be buying  Mika...thank you for checking in today! Spending time in the outdoors, after reading your post  I spent an hour in the flower beds ;D FELT SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! Adam is so spot on, appreciate what you have. Even if it is a flower garden full of weeds ;D Sweet pic, music will bring us together.  |
