quackn, you are probably right about Adam's live chat. It is likely about his presence on social media and what we would like him to do with it. I just assumed it meant his whole music identity, genre, etc. I hope he is getting some feedback from fans. I like to see the comments.
I love Outlaws of Love.

I think I heard Adam himself say on one interview that he considers himself a rock star and so he feels successful. He doesn't seem to want to sing rock, but he clearly has the voice for it. But, then again, he actually has the voice for anything. I LOVE his ballads. I love Adam's ballads as well. He has written/co-written some gems. Some Grammy worthy, imo. I think some of them are as good as some of the Queen ballads. But Adam's were never pushed or promoted so he doesn't get to sing them at big events because almost no one knows them but us fans. So he sings and slays the Queen ballads.

I didn't get the impression at all that it was about his music...just that he felt "forced" or compelled to be on sm more, and wanted to know what his fans were looking for. But I'm not always good about subtext, so who knows lol.

Stampsgal asked me to repost this to stir conversation. She also suggested posting a short version on instagram so Adam might see it. I’m not good with Instagram so feel welcome…this may not be as coherent, but I tried to highlight the ideas by cutting and pasting, so…
I think Adam is great when he is REacting, giving witty/ thoughtful/humorous advice. So my suggestion would be doing a weekly talk show style video podcast—reusing some stuff he already has with a different spin. For example, he could use the woman with guitar vids featuring his voice such as On the Moon. “ Adam’s Style: Jazz. Then have a brief convo with Spenser, Oliver some other celeb feeding him a question or having him react to a photo featuring one of his costumes and how he chose it, or reacting to a designer of costume comment on how they were inspired by Adam or how Adam was inspired by a similar design. The idea is to feature his voice, his songs at beginning and end of podcast.
Or, Adam’s Style: ———-either a different song he has done in a jazz style ( Red House using a performance vid) or, change up On the Moon to another style —reworking his own song like he has done with covers since Idol. Or, he could invite one of his friends to sing one of his songs in their style Darren Criss? . And comment on their interpretation
Maybe an “Adam covers…Adam” type podcast. I know he hates to repeat himself, but it makes sense to re-introduce his own music and his enviable talent to change things up. What Adam can do like no other is demonstrate his versatility with not “ singing the phone book” but showcasing his own music at the beginning or end of his podcast and do a “fun” segment in the middle.
Run with this, tweak this, reinvent these ideas, or not, One way to catch on would be to do some predictable, silly segment like Adam sings nursery rhymes in a famous style building on his Muffin Man meme. I’m sure this would require more time and production than I’m thinking, but starting with something he’s already got seems logical. We know everything he’s done, but think about how amazed we are when someone submits an Adam performance to the people who “ react” to them who claim to have never heard of him. Another couple of ideas: Adam and Beverly perform duets of people who submit songs they’ve written to them, audience chooses winner, etc. or Adam comments on duets he’s done, and invites people with whom he has duetted come and perform duet of one of Adam’s songs. Or Adam collaborates with…singer, songwriter, costume designer., etc.
Adam’s style: Broadway.
