It says the following: Best in the music according to Rolling Stone: 2. Lambert burst into fairly fierce arranged and weepy (the word is misprinted, so I'm assuming they meant this one) synthesized ballad. Not easy for perception bit had been born in the head of Dr Luke. (I wanted to translate it - had been begotten by Dr Luke's mind - but not sure I might put it this way :-/

They were the ones that really gave WWFM a lot of air time and still play it a lot. I actually heard it in the car on the way home from Leno after I dropped off Stardust. It was a really Zen moment after such a long day.

I don't know if that means it will be in their rotation now but anyway....

That's awesome! Also San Fran peeps, some folks noticed that BTIKM showed up on the mediabase form for KREV 92.7 San Fran Top 40?

I was able to vote 80 times today. I experimented it by deleting my browser history/cookies (H/C) and it re-activates my voting privileges.
1. After I finished my 20 FB counts I clear my browser history/cookies (H/C)
2. Switched to my Tweeter account for another 20, clear H/C
3. You have to clear H/C after voting 20 times from each account
4. I spaced it every 30-min and the other group for an hour so it won't look too obvious :D
Both accounts were created solely for this voting purposes :D

ETA: Don't they (VH1) close the MV voting on Thursdays? So whatever votes we submitted today are for next week?

Thanks for posting this! I'm in the SF area, but hadn't heard of this station so googled it. Evidently they don't have a very good reputation. The djs Fernando and Greg from KMVQ who interviewed Adam when he was in SF used to work there, but it was bought by a new owner in 2009 and they got rid of the old personnel. There was an article I found about the station with the headline "KREV 92.7 FM Gets Homophobic in the Mornings" which probably says it all, though it's from 2009 and don't know if it's still relevant . I'll start requesting there. Did it get played there?

I just read through yesterdays thread and feel sad about all the negative comments about BTIKM. I think this is Adam's best single to date, in terms of being modern production, fitting in with both HAC and CHR, and showing off his vocals.

I do realize that this doesn't guarantee a radio hit. There seem to be many opinions about whether it's the song or the homophobia or the AI bias or whatever.

I find it hard to believe it's the song. I think it fits HAC VERY well and if it becomes a Top 10, it WILL cross over to CHR. I think it fits better than WWFM - that song was very pop rock and the beat/percussion (whatever it's called) of BTIKM makes it more current sounding. Maybe the hook isn't quite as strong - maybe it takes a few more listens to have it "stick in your head" but I think it does. I think it just needs to get played, however that happens - RCA and us requesting.

I don't understand why we think it's not going to improve?

In October I went to a concert in town with David Cook and Gavin Degraw co-headlining - wanted to see what Cook was about since I had heard people speak of him here (never saw him on Idol). I didn't like Cook's style at all, but I became a fan of Gavin Degraw - really liked his voice, style and many of the songs. I bought Gavin's album at the concert (it was already released since June ?I think) - and his lead single Not Over You was released in May before the album. I had never heard that song on the radio - it's not even my favorite song on his album (it's a Ryan Tedder co-write whereas almost all other songs on Gavin's album were written solely by Gavin).

Anyway, point is that song is now I believe #4 on HAC and I had never heard it in Oct after it being released in May. Gavin has 4 albums out and has had moderate success. Why is Adam expected to climb the charts so much faster? Is it because he is more known due to Idol?

I really understand little of the radio stuff - and I get very upset they aren't playing him - but I'm willing to be patient a little longer due in part to Gavin's experience (and others mentioned here too). I'm certainly requesting from SF stations. I tried calling my local Top 40 but the DJ was kind of a bitch to me so I think I'll wait a bit to call her again lol.

I also am not sure if Trespassing would get a quicker response - and without hearing the produced version, who could even predict it would do better? I think the strategy of releasing a more HAC leaning song like WWFM was a smart move - perhaps safer, a little more boring yes, but I'm thinking in terms of "keep your eye on the prize" rather than the short term gratification. I do have to give myself pep talks however and when I hear others here (who seem to have more knowledge) angsting about the single choice, it's definitely more challenging!
