yep....cuz it wouldn't be a singer trying to outsing Whitney. Dolly's version is different but equally incredible. still kinda bummed about JHUD....I think it's tacky. I like Dolly, but I just saw the latest movie she was in. Her voice is not what it used to be. Other than writing this song, what soes Dolly have to do with Whitney? Whitney and JHud knew each other and they are both black women who are diva type singers. From what I understand Jennifer and Whitnet were fans of one another. From an earlier article: "Houston actually presented Hudson with her first Grammy. Hudson said meeting her idol "almost overshadowed getting the Grammy." What does an older, white, country singer have to do with Whitney Houston? ??? She wrote the song and doesn't sound like someone trying to imitate Whitney. JMHO

An Adam fan on Twitter, @coffeesporter, has promised to donate 20 cents to the charity water campaign for everyone who follows him (yes, him!). As his Twitter page says, "Adam needs some male fans, too!" He's had 10 new followers and donated $2.00, but c'mon, guys, we can do better than that!

I always wondered - how come his eyelashes are black in these pics? So, I agree - most probably he does have mascara on ... I believe his eyebrows and-lashes are permanently coloured, and he might also have some "individual fake lashes". He is definitely using skin toner, there are very good ones, that look natural and allows skin to breath,(like Joe Blasco). His normal set of eye make-up is black eye-liner inside and out-side of lashes and black shadow on the top. Then white high-light as per need. And of course might be some coloured as well. Now that he has less visible eye make-up, I think he is having dash of black (or gray) shadow, and very light high-lighter under his brows, inside corner of eye and also sometimes under outer corner of eye. He is definitely not "natural" :D. I LOVE his make-up, visible or in-visible!! ITA and you're right. You can see his eye make up here but when he has his eyes open you can't really see it.

I wouldn't do it, but it can be professionally done. I have a niece that does it because her eyelashes are really white, almost invisble. Dyed, they are gorgeous! Does she get it done at a hair salon or somewhere else? I have white almost transparent eyelashes and would love to have them dyed. The woman who cuts my hair said she wouldn't feel comfortable trying it - neither would I. sugaree....you would have better luck at an esthetician...it is a different product and process and most hairstylists that I know do not do it...unless they also do esthetics and have the extra training.

Others have touched on it, but I, also, have to mention the new level of respect Adam is getting from the interviewers. He's being treated as a successful artist and when a snarky comment is made, it seems to be in jest, just 2 guys messing around. The "he's gay" awareness seems to have faded into "he's a really cool, talented guy and a good interview" status. I find their admiration for his hair sincere and hilarious. Again, no sarcasm, just real puzzlement at how the heck he keeps it in place. I find I enjoy the interviews more because I'm not waiting for someone to take a cheap shot and for Adam to be his always gracious self when he probably wanted to take a poke at someone's smug face. I'm not a numbers follower and as much as I want Adam to be a mega-star, my prayer for him is that both his professional and private lives flourish to the extent that he is still making music and garnering respect and love long after I've left this world. He is too talented to be left in the dust for the next big thing. Totally agree about the interviewers. This time around is SOOOO different. The big fascination is Queen, not his sexuality, eyeliner. I thought the hair questions were genuine also. One guy who asked actually wears his hair up like that, but of course, not is amazingly as Adam's.

JMHO A tribute is for the deceased person, not the person who wrote the song. IWALY was Whitney's song. It is about who Whitney and her family would want. Who would Whitney select? Why does it matter who wrote the song? When has that ever been important in a tribute? It really isn't about who WE would want! I'm not a huge Jennifer Hudson fan, but I understand that this tribute isn't about ME. It doesn't matter who I would like to hear sing! www.bet.com/video/bethonors/2010/jennifer-hudson-whitney-houston-tribute-2010.htmlJennifer had already done IWALY honoring Whitney at the BET awards. Watch Whitney's reaction.

The last time I voted at VH1 Top 20 was late yesterday afternoon. Today when I try to vote they tell me I have already voted today and to try again tomorrow! >:(

If Adam went totally without makeup, he'd look more like his father. Sorry, nope, nope, nope. He has his mothers angular fetaures, not Eber's squishy features. Neil has those. The only way he would look more like his dad is if he went back to the strawberry blonde hair.

Like others, I am enjoying this more natural Adam. It makes him appear at once more approachable, and at the same time, more regal. But, it seems to me he is still wearing a foundation and a little blush of some kind. I think that a freshly scrubbed Adam has lots of freckles on his face. It would seem he would have to with the lip freckles, the neck freckles, and the amount of freckling on his shoulders, arms and hands. Any make up experts want to chime in and give an opinion? He definitely had make up on last night. But the radio PR, Friday at Staples, he looked make up less to me. Naw. he was wearing foundation.. a little, but it was there.
