pssst I'm trying to win tickets at Q102 IF I don't win, I'm planning to possibly freeze my ass outside the station in hopes of seeing him and getting pics, etc. (I wonder if Sauli will tag along) Anyone else planning a trip to Q102 , City Line Ave??????? I don't want to be the only crazy there. opps I mean super fan there.. ;D I'm actually thinking about it if I don't win the tix to Q102 or B104..... I thought I was the only crazy, I mean super fan lol!!! |

April 27th is a Friday. That would make the US release 4/30 (if they go for a Monday) or more likely May 1st. Maybe Adam DID mean Maypril? :-/  |

Yes but if her music hadn't of smashed it wouldn't normall be played on all formats. Her last song Chasing Pavements didn't get that did it? And as far as I recognize she still sounded the same back then? I just think there is some heavy contradiction going on by saying that RITD wasn't like anything else on the radio and it smashed and even tho BTIKM is in the same boat--not like anything else on radio--it will be a tough go. What? It all comes down to production. Adele had the co-writers and production team for this album that turned her way with words into something more. The production elevated her songwriting and her voice to a whole other level. There is a reason why producers are the hit makers of today.  BTIKM is not even close to RITD. I love Adam and his voice, but RITD struck a chord with MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people around the world. That song was lightening in a bottle!  Not denying that at all, just saying that being played AROUND THE CLOCK certainly helped it become the massive hit it was. It could be an amazing song, but if radio didn't play the shit out of it then she wouldn't have had it sell a gazillion downloads. People discount the importance of radio--but hell even ADELE HERSELF thanked radio at the grammys for making her song catch on the way it did. #realness |

So since I don't see the M&G for B104 in the upcoming events I'm HOPING it's on Friday!?!?!?!
April - I was listening to B104 this morning and they are still not saying when or where it is! It's "Top Secret" lol. Did you hear the girl that won the first M&G had to identify IIHY played BACKWARDS??? BTW - I posted this in the Numbers thread but I have to squee/brag a bit here since there is some concern for CHR right now. Other than Sirius the 3 top CHR spinners are: Philly Allentown Lancaster ALL IN PA!!!!! A little proud right now. YAY! AWESOME. I had it on all morning. Didn't hear anything about tix being given away today I thought it was tomorrow :( booo. He is so worth standing out in the cold for. |

ame: What country was this in? The guy singing WWFM was not even CLOSE to Adam, but I always have a soft spot for anyone who picks a song of Adam's to audition with. I always consider it to be a nod to Adam and a good sign that his songs are well-known in many countries! |
