@rayzofviolet: Did Adam just say he's hard on tv? I do declare. He was introducing Rhianna's (Only girl in the world). Said, "Nothing like half naked Rhianna to get your sex drive going, I mean, I am hard...( laughing)"

can't keep up anymore with everything, but this is just beautiful BTIKM LOL, same here, spinnin' here and there to grab all the goodies! Severe case of Bertigo! Now I'm stuck with this performance; tender, vulnerable, kinda like a lullaby (for Sauli)... Listening with headphones; it's like he's sitting just beside me. Despite the fact that it is early morning and his voice is not completely warmed, he again amazes me... not only he sounds like an angel he also looks like one. Damn, we are lucky. Wow, they are awesome together. This version was so pretty and when Adam puts his hand on his heart it just melts me.

Chunky...I'm with you. I'll take anything to get the PD's to add/play him. But this song isn't doing it for me. It's kinda of boring. Again, another medium beat song. Not dancey and it seems similar to It will rain. I just don't know. It doesn't sound like a hit to me but then again, everything Bruno does sells so I'll take it. Did I miss something, or are we just guessing that this is the next single based on the guess that when Adam said Bruno was "on the record" that meant he was vocally on the record? Hmm, dunno, but that just seems like a lot of guessing to me, I guess. I actually like the song quite a lot, in its way, and have from the first time the demo surfaced, but I really hope that it's not the next single. I don't find it boring so much as mood-music of a certain sort, which I dig (and I do think it's dance-music), but it certainly doesn't strike me as "explosive,"--an introduction to the New Trespassing Adam. More than anything, though, I would just LOVE for Adam's next single to be one he wrote (co-wrote) himself. Is that so hard, RCA-peeps? Work with us here. Partly, I just think Adam as a writer makes songs better, dammit!I've been trying to process yesterday's quotes about the delay being due to getting more radio-friendly songs on the album, followed by a Dr. Luke name-drop. Deep breaths, deep breaths. I'm not worried about the time-delay--I'm happy to wait longer, honest--I just want to wait for the right reasons! I'm trying to read this as RCA/Adam taking advantage of some major last minute collab opportunities, rather than their cramming the album with sound-alike pop that could come from any artist, and in the process pushing some very Adamized funky oddities off the far end of the record. Please let the Pharrell-inspired brave new Trespassing sound remain the overarching sound of the new album (fingers crossed). I get thrills every time Adam talks about going back to his first musical loves for inspiration: Michael Jackson, Queen, Depeche Mode, George Michael, NIN, 90s House. Don't wash that goodness out with Dr. Luke/Claude Kelly sausage-pop. But then when I get myself a little worked up I give myself a good smack because A) I'm surely not giving Dr. Luke enough credit. His discography is formidable and do I really know enough about him to know his "sound?" NO. His sound is pretty varied, from what I can tell. (Imagine if RCA had sent Adam to Tedder to come up with some more "radio-friendly" singles! You would have had a very grumpy MWP on your hands!) And B) We know so little about this whole process and the new music in general, that for all I know I'm mourning songs I would have disliked and griping about new songs that I'll turn out to love. Who knows, yet, which songs will be my jams on this album? Silly for me to get fussed over it. I just have to trust in Adam, and trust in his strength to stand up to label pressure when its important to him. Who can guess what fabulous last-minute tricks the boy has stuck up his lovely, drapey, skin-grafty sleeves? Agree with every word and especially the RED parts: I really, really want ADAM's song as a single.IMO -the songs he wrote/co-wrote on FYE are by far the best songs of the album. I am sure it is the same with the Trespassing. I have no idea how they select the singles... BTIKM is enough... it is safe and commercial - GIVE US SOMETHING EXCITING! My logic tells me that the next single should be a dancy upbeat number... ...vocal collab with Bruno... IDK... Bruno will end up looking like a looser with his thin voice...but that would be HIS problem I suppose... ;D
