I read that Billboard as Adam playing different parts, whether he's on AI, solo, or with QAL. This EP, he'll just present another part of himself.
I don't see it as any different than me presenting myself differently, whether I'm at work, with family, or at home. I don't necessarily act the same when I'm with my family as I do when I'm at home with just my husband.
Same me, just different facets of my personality.

SVCA, I agree, different dimensions of the same person. Everyone is multi-layered. And, let's face it, Adam is an actor. He has his performance persona and, I am sure his personal persona (how he is with his friends and family). I have noticed over the past few months the lyrics I am hearing on the radio are more off color than I would have expected. I can't remember names or songs, at the moment, but I do remember going Oh, Wow - so we're ok with this now. I will reserve opnion on Adams new works until I hear them. If the beat is great and I don't like the lyrics, I won't listed to lyrics! It doesn't seem he is following any trend that others aren't following, but because he is gay, anyone who is not gay may not like it. Just as those who are gay may not like the straight lyrics. Doyou like green or blue. I don't believe there is a right answer. Art is art. Adam mentioned in an interview that he heard a quote that art is made for the artist. If others like it, great. If not, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Like others here, thought, I hope he doesn't shoot himself in the foot.

Everyone has different sides of themselves. But TMI about sex is not sexy but crude from gay or straight, imo. I had a feeling he was no longer with a major label as I doubt they would have been okay with something so explicit unless it was rap. Certainly not from a gay male artist because they have more barriers to overcome. There was a time when Adam was out drinking with Terrance and some friends and Adam called Kim Kardasian a c**t. Terrace thought it was a good idea to post that. Kim had not done a thing to Adam so you knew he was just being silly. Thankfully fans told Terrance to delete it before it was picked up by the media. It was fun for Terrance (who had little to lose) but could have hurt Adam. Sorta like when Adam posted the comment that Sam made about Michael Jackson when they were all out having fun. Adam meant no harm but Sam was subjected to a lot of s**t because of it. IDK, but is it really exciting to find out what Adam and his friends talk about regarding sex when they are together, lol? Hopefully Adam will get invited to sing on different tv shows and projects. But it does not seem that he will be able to sing new songs like "Wet Dreams" outside of Pride events, so it will be covers or Queen as usual or old material like WWFM. I'll always wish him well and hope he finds an audience who will support his efforts. Or maybe it is just a vanity project and he is not expecting much. Hope others enjoy but I'll pass until the next era. HA. |

As of now i'm Not too excited about Afters either, Just can't get into EDM and the explicit subject. As a EP IT's only a few Songs, Not a full length Album so...i'll Just wait for the next thing to come around.
It becomes evermore clear why nothing Came Out of the Studio Session Tori Kelly and Adam Had lol
But just to throw IT Out there...Billie Eilish also has a new Hit that's quite explicit
