I'm sure someone will post at least part of this documentary. This is great for Adam. And he gave a nice speech to iheart about Queen and Freddie's influence. Adam is impressive in that he can bring some positive energy to his community, in whatever way he chooses to present himself. He is authentic when he performs in places like China and shows respect for his audience (I hope and think he will be invited back). CMT with "Girl Crush." Just as he is authentic when he is re-visiting his rather raunchy club kid days. HA. Performing at a Pride Event. Or fronting Queen. Performing at the Kennedy Center. The Oscars. Heavy makeup or little makeup. Pop, rock, dance, soul, pop-rock. All the "real" Adam. And he is smart enough to know that there is a time and place for everything. And it is important to be able to adapt to your audience. You want to reach people and not have them dismiss you as a non-serious person or artist. He is certainly viewed positively by most in the media and fans, as a respected talent, power and icon in his community. |
