Re the discussion in the last few days, I'd like to bring up that the gay community always takes pejorative terms for women, adopts them and turns them positive. It's a good thing, I don't know why anyone would be offended. (btw, I haven't read each and every post, so I'm sorry if it's already been said).

Not being a gay man, I wouldn't know what the positive thing is, therefore, I find the word itself offensive. I looked up the meaning in gay slang it is says it also refers to another gay man one dislikes. So, still not positive. Perhaps, there are many more meanings of the term, I wouldn't know. But, what one finds offensive others may not. I do not think for one minute that Adam means to offend. I just find the word itself like F@g or Ni#@3r offensive. Just my feelings.

Imo, What is viewed as a positive term when used in the gay community (if it is a positive) would not automatically be viewed as a positive to most women. Gay men are still men and the C word is a mean and negative term generally directed towards women. There is no sugar coating that. And if women see a term as negative and mocking, many will not give someone a pass on using and celebrating it because you think it is funny and because you are gay. Nor do fans want to see Adam try to normalize it because his circle of friends may think it is cute. HA. Even if younger gay men believe it is cool to refer to friends in those terms, I'm sure a more mature Adam knows that it is a negative outside his community. If you need to explain the meaning from your perspective then is it worth it to be offensive (I'm sure that was not his purpose) to many women? But it is what it is and he is making the music he wants.
I don't know why there was a change but Adam touring with Queen would use "fat ass bitches" or something like that for "Fat Bottom Girls." At some point, he stopped. I know they throw around bitches for each other in his community but when he was on stage with Queen, it was not directed at members of his community but at women. Of course, he meant it in a funny way and many viewed it as such. But he stopped using it for whatever reason and I don't think most women wanted him to bring it back, lol.

Ott but can someone Help me Out Here: For several weeks on the YouTube Channel of Jimmy fallon i can only See the Musical Performances and maybe a few other skits but Not the Interviews. Is that because its Not Uploaded anymore or because its geoblocked in Germany? If you look under The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, it has both interviews and performances, and then some of the Password skits, etc. Not sure if anything is missing as I don't watch the show. Thanks so much! I guess IT's geoblocked ffs 😡 IT says so, when i search the Videos on the official Website of the Show

Actually, Adam used "fat-ass bitches" for quite a while when he sang FBG. Quite honestly, I thought he did it because Freddie must have sung it that way when he did the song. I never thought twice about it. It was always a kind of fun moment that made people laugh. I never looked up a video of Freddie singing the song to see if he used the term. Brian and Roger didn't seem to mind when Adam did it quite a few times. Don't know whose decision it was to discontinue it. Maybe someone should ask Adam sometime.
Bitches is one of those words that can be a true insult, or it can be a playful word in female banter. I've heard plenty of girls/women in my circle of friends who have used it in a funny, teasing way not meant to be taken seriously. Not so much with the C-word. Among women, it's an insult, plain and simple. Adam and his community have their own spin on it.
We've got Adam's new interview of British TV coming up. And the airing of The Voice from Australia not too far away. then on to eras yet unknown.
