girldrummer, I thought FBG and the antics were fun too. But sorta like the kissing Tommy, it was fun for sometime but when it finally ended no one really missed it. And like the tribute to Freddie. There was nothing wrong with that either until the speech expanded and lasted longer than needed. When he later acknowledged Freddie but shortened the speech (Adam was always worthy of being there) many of us cheered, lol. Sometimes maybe something works at first but then it starts to feel too staged or stale, if you keep doing it long past the shelf life. HA.

I didn't miss the FBG bitches thing. It had run its course, I guess. No biggie.
Adam's early Freddie speeches were a bit awkward, IMO. I think B&R helped him shorten it and focus it better. Early on, the feeling was that Adam had to justify being there and voice his own "I'm no Freddie" sentiments. I think lots of diehard Freddie fans appreciated hearing it from Adam. They liked his humility, and it was easier to accept him.
