What a marvelous day and previous evening... the documentary was 5 star and his moderating 5 star PLUS!. The comments I read on yesterday's thread and the all media videos continue to confirm Adam's natural ability to listen, communicate, and choose the right tone and words!!!! I hope the ratings (that some fan will find and post>>>hopefully) are positive-- to affirm the quality of the documentary. The still images posted of Adam from the documentary are.... swoon worthy...

I watched the Out, Loud and Proud documentary. It was very interesting and I didn't know much about the people who were interviewed, so I enjoyed it and found it informative. Adam Lambert is a great interviewer, for sure. He seems easy to talk to and comes across as genuinely understanding and willing to listen - which is probably why big stars might feel comfortable talking to him vs. for example some journalist who just "doesn't get it"...
Having said all that, I do feel that the whole documentary wasn't quite as in-depth as I would have liked, but it only lasted for what? 50 minutes? (60 with lots of commercials) so I guess that's why... And while they did mention non-binary UK representation like Sam Smith, there were no interviews with them... maybe scheduling issues or they refused to talk about it, though probably former?... instead, the interview was with an American actress/singer... I liked her in Pose and I think she's great, I'm not saying her interview was bad in any way, shape or form, but this was supposed to be a documentary about British LGBT artists and how things have changed (or not) and I just wish there was more. The documentary should have been 90 minutes long and had more interviews. But that's maybe asking for too much.
Overall I really enjoyed the documentary and am glad it was made and shown in a prime-time slot (though not sure how many people actually watched it, cause of the football - rolling my eyes, shaking my head, and all that - oh lord - whenever there is some kind of championship, it's like nothing else exists... but whatever). The reviews are pretty good and pretty honest, and there was additional press and marketing around it, which is always great, so it's all a good thing.

I have watched the documentary twice now. I got more out of it the second time around and really enjoyed Adam's interview style. Relaxed and listening. I haven't read any reviews in depth but they all seem to be good. Adam seems to be a people person and just relates well to most. I hope there is another more indepth documentary. I think he would do it justice.
A bit off topic: I was SHOCKED watching his interview with Lorraine on youtube to see that the video with Freddie was BLURRED! Really??????

Wasn’t the video of I Want To Break Free blurred to show, that the video was banned by MTV in the USA? That’s how I understood it. In Europe it was aired just like it is at the time, but not in the US, they just didn’t show it at all.
