Promise..I am being a good girl here.. Not stirring the pot. Adam's promo has me totally confused. Someone asked this earlier and I don't know if it was addressed. Is this leg of the promo for BTIKM and to reintroduce Adam to the public? Seems like it to me. And this leg, and the mv, and Adam's interviews all seem to me to be introducing the album, too. What else could it be for?It seemed like Adam has such great momentum going and now the album is pushed back. Momentum is one thing (and we have no idea what's ahead that could be equally or even more momentous), but the best possible songs are another. I think Adam/RCA wants what they consider the best possible songs. I have no savvy in this biz..some of you do. Oops, I don't. I probably shouldn't be responding. Can BTIKM itself fill the gap until Mapril or whenever they release Trespassing? My guess is there will be another single sooner or later before or with album release. I understand radio play will be crucial, but this whole thing feels so wonky to me. I, too, have been feeling wonky lately, but it's utterly unrelated to anything having to do with Adam - I'm working on it, but it's really a whole other subject.And where is RCA or Adam's management when these 'small' details are being released? I think they're doing their jobs, lining things up, etc. Perhaps I misunderstand their roles. To have a delayed release being dropped during a random interview seems so...odd. But who/how else would a delay be announced?Is Adam handling all his own PR too? No, I don't think so - I think he's handling singing, presenting himself, etc. All the places he's going to are what PR has set up, I think. SO..I am not complaining..I truly am confused..thoughts? |

I am really glad you responded, Bridget. FYE came rolling out so fast, that this is a whole new can of worms for me. Completely different scenario. I was feeling that RCA has been so quiet and that Adam was doing all the talking/announcing. Since I don't stan anyone else, I don't know if this is unusual. Information seems to come out of left field (or maybe that is where I reside.. 8-)) Remember, I am here for you too when you want to share your feelings about Adam's see-thru shirt!  ;D |
