He could be flying to Austalia or Asia for promo. The single in Japan is being released 2/28, isn't it, and he has not had any radio promo there. In Japan there singles are still released as CD like in UK and Germany and I would expect, that in Japan the first week sales are important, too. So it would be a good idea doing a little bit promo there now. Pretty sure he'd come thru LA for Asia or Australia and we would have heard something about that promo, if he was going. Sometimes the answer is simple.... he's just coming back home!

HOLY CRAP IS THAT FESTIVAL ALWAYS THAT JAM PACKED?!?!? ;0 Crazy, huh? I admire anyone that is going to go to this! Did not know Queen also has their own helicopter! Wow! What an event this whole thing will be for Adam! Talk about a total Rock Star experience! I can't even imagine! I love it when Adam said that for the EMA they rehearsed in London and he flew to Dublin with Brian & Roger in Queen's little jet... LOL..

Question...I listened to an old playlist while working out today, and heard Strut for the first time in a long, long time. At the very end, he sounds like he's doing a Freddie imitation, and doing it brilliantly I might add...anyone else hear the resemblance?
I would try to add a link for Strut, but with this board, who am I kidding. Like you don't all have it a click away at a moment's notice...

On the topics menu: His upcoming album, Trespassing and hot new single “Better Than I Know Myself,” relationships, Valentine’s Day, the possibility (or not) of us seeing Adam fill Freddie Mercury’s shoes (and sweet mustache) as the next lead singer of classic rock group Queen… and a** lips. Yes, that’s right, a** lips. Just click ahead to get to the interview… there’s no use explaining. "Ass lips!!!" I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

video www.vh1.com/music/tuner/2012-02-17/adam-lambert-nicki-minaj/?xrs=share_twitterFebruary 17th, 2012 | 5:25 pm Adam Lambert Weighs In On Nicki Minaj’s “Exorcism Of Roman” Grammy Performance: “I Was A Little Lost”by Mark Graham We were lucky enough to spend an hour or so with Adam Lambert earlier this week when he swung by our New York City headquarters. We talked to him about a variety of topics, including his new video for “Better Than I Know Myself” and some of the thematic differences you’ll notice between For Your Entertainment and Trespassing, but we also got his thoughts on some recent goings-on in the pop culture world. We’ll be sharing the full interview with you over the coming weeks, but we wanted to get this clip out to the Glambert Nation as soon as it was humanly possible. Since Adam is no stranger to controversial live television performances (*cough* the 2009 AMAs!!! *cough*), we thought we’d get his opinion on Nicki Minaj’s “Exorcism Of Roman” number from at the Grammys this past weekend. “It was a really intense idea,” he told us. “I was just trying to follow what the narrative was, I was a little lost. But it was interesting and she went for it.” Lambert continued, “Being an artist, it doesn’t always work, whatever it is that you’re doing. But there’s something to be said about going for it. She has a point of view, and she’s bold, and she wanted to tell a story. I just wasn’t sure the story, but it looked rad.” We’ll have more from our interview with Adam Lambert for you next week! (PS, only 32 more days until Trespassing comes out!)

shirleyhalperin @shirleyhalperin Finally, @micheleamabile got to meet @adamlambert! Read what he had to say to lucky radio listeners this morning >> shar.es/gXXqrAdam Lambert Talks 'Trespassing' Delay, Queen Gig, Secret Duet at Promo Stop"I’m just trying to get it right and make sure it’s the best album possible," the "American Idol" season 8 runner-up revealed in an intimate chat with VIP listeners at Jersey shore radio station The Point.3:38 PM PST 2/17/2012 by Michele Amabile Angermiller Many of you Idol Worshipers may not know this, but when I’m not blogging about American Idol for The Hollywood Reporter, I'm logging in hours as a DJ at New Jersey Top 40 radio station, 94.3 The Point. The Point is always an exciting place to be, but today, our listeners got an extra-special treat when Idol's own Adam Lambert came by to promote his new single, “Better Than I Know Myself.” Lambert performed that song and “Whataya Want From Me” to an enthusiastic crowd of contest winners and invited guests. Then, he fielded questions from the audience, and gave insight into why his new CD, Trespassing, has been delayed from its original release date of March 20. “It got pushed a little bit,” Lambert told the 30 lucky listeners assembled. “The music industry is not a science and to set up an album to be released internationally, there is a lot of work that goes into it, and logistics and political things. So I’m just trying to get it right and set it all up and release it to everybody and make sure that it’s the best album possible.” Lambert revealed that he is working on new songs for the record, which contains a song written by Bruno Mars, as well as collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Sam Sparro and Dr. Luke. “I’m working on a couple of new songs last minute that came in at the end of the cutoff period, so we’re going to push it so we can work on the songs,” he said. Lambert was less forthcoming, however, about whether or not he will front the rock band Queen sometime later this year. “Maybe,” he said, adding that his focus right not is on his own album and tour for Trespassing. “I have my own new things that I have written on this album,” he said. “I have written a lot of the songs, and as a songwriter and artist I really want to get my project out there. I would love to do any kind of guest appearance they have in mind. It would be an honor.” Other revelations during the sit down: Lambert is an Aquarius, with an Aries moon, he would love to do a duet with David Bowie, he tried out for American Idol because he “wanted out of the backline of the chorus in 'Wicked,'" he loves to vacation in tropical locations, like Bora Bora, there is a duet planned that is “under wraps,” and his mother is a dental hygienist, which is why his teeth are in such good shape.
