Nice to see that Wicked vid with Adam doing Fiyero. Haven't seen it in quite a while. Would have loved to see him do that show live.
Looking forward to some post-party topics here soon.

Regarding ‘afters’: that album could be written by someone who can’t sing, or write decent lyrics. Musically, vocally, lyrically it’s forgettable music experience, even for people who like to dance. I don’t know what to think about title written in cocaine lines. Adam’s eyes on every picture looks blurry tho. Relationship and lifestyle with Oliver inspired Adam’s the worst album so far. Side note people shouldn’t censor themselves. I expected more from Adam.

Well, if fans don't like the EP, or don't like this particular path of Adam's (whether temporary or not), don't buy the music...easy peasy. I'm not buying it, don't like EDM music at all. Don't agree that this was inspired by Oliver...Adam's a grown ass man, and he's been holding back for a long time so as not to upset anybody. Maybe he decided that he's gonna let loose at 42. Or maybe it was just for Pride, like a couple of people have said. I guess we'll see what else he'll do for this year and/or the next.
I don't follow Oliver at all, but I've seen this piling on on Adam's boyfriends repeatedly over the years, and I really don't understand it. I always see comments that fans want Adam to find somebody to fall in love with, and as soon as he says he's in love with somebody, the nagging starts. Same thing happened with Sauli...the man could do no right. Reminds me of my MIL who so wished her girls could find boyfriends and/or husbands, but then nobody was ever good enough...including me for her son lol.
Wonder if it's the same for all celebrities. Weird.

And his talent is not front and center with this dance/EDM music and the lyrics not as good as his other works, so yes, disappointing. But Adam has said it was inspired by the people in his party circle and life (would include Oliver I guess) and for his community. He seems to be expressing defiance from someone's point of view if not from his own. I hope that since Pride is over and when we see Adam in different setting with less partying, that will put minds at ease. He is such a great talent and I think (hope) to hear more meaningful and universal music from him in the future. And no one is trying to tell Adam who to love and who to have in his life. But if photos and partying are posted here then comments and opinions (or judgement) will be expressed. We all love Adam but we have been commenting on him for 15 years for makeup, less makeup, facial hair, music preferences (more pop, less pop and more rock) performances, weight, style, sexy and good looks and even boyfriends. So if a boyfriend is always posted here and you can't miss him (and he does not want to be missed,lol), there will be the occasional comment on him too. HA. A boyfriend is certainly not more special than Adam such that he is off limits as far as opinions or observations, while Adam is not. Even if the interest in him or Adam's crew is not as great for some as it is for others, everyone is free to enjoy, as many do, ignore/scroll or voice an opinion, if they choose. |
