I emailed the Sound Bath video to myself the other day to watch when I had the time. I kept putting it off because it's over an hour long. Big Mistake! I'm not feeling Ricky with the facial hair, either. Maybe it's because when you're as gorgeous as Adam or Ricky, or Brad, for that matter, why cover it up? And, with Adam and Ricky, it makes them look like 1940s movie villains...... which can be good or bad, depending on your point of view. Oh my god, I'm sooo far down the rabbit hole .... yknow what I thought when I read that? "Yeah, but I think Cheeks was just too lazy to shave." What other Brad is there? I don't think there is a 2 week delay, to tell you the truth. However, like I said, we don't know which day they end it on. If the last voting day is Wednesday, then Adam missed some voting time. The criteria for VH1s countdown is a mystery though and they have said there are other factors besides the vote. They just have never said what the other factors are? So right now, I don't know what to think? :-/ From last year - I remember they filmed one of the episodes right in my n'hood and the day they filmed was THURSDAY - because that was the only sunny day that week. So, that would mean that the votes were counted as of WEDNESDAY, i.e.: VH1 voting week is Thursday thru Wednesday - this IMHO based on the above evidence, nothing more... all other considerations - popularity of the song, label push or whatever else - we have no way of knowing... we do know that the song is not popular yet, but the MV is... after the MTV show at 11:30 I am going back to RL - it has become more fun in RL than in Adamland - who knew??? |

I do not know what it is about. I voted for 2 x 20 and I think Adam was the first. When I voted for the third time, Adam was not there anymore at all. Confused ???

I feel so confident about Adam right now. I know BTIKM is not tearing up the charts and the album has been delayed. But, if these things were causing scrambling and dismay behind the scenes then Adam is an actor worthy of an Oscar  He just glows with confidence and happiness these days. Someone described him as acting like the cat that swallowed the canary. He is building such good will as he visits these radio stations and does things like FUSE, MTV top 10, etc. He is blowing the minds of radio people with his excellent vocals!I think he has been everywhere lately and people who don't follow his spins on this song and countdown placement assume he is a star doing well. He wouldn't be asked to do some of these things if he was seen has an AI one hit wonder. More and more I'm coming to the conclusion that BTIKM was put out in December to counteract BFM. And was chosen first because it was ready to go and introduces the album concept. I wouldn't be surprised if he is sharing some of the new stuff with certain PD's on this trip. Didn't Larry Flick from Sirious comment on something to that effect? Wow, I think this is the longest post I've ever made here! |

Did anyone mention that BTIKM hit No. 1 on the South Africa Top 40 countdown? It was competing with Katy, Madonna, Adele, etc. there as well. So it IS a No. 1 hit in one country so far!!!     It's been a 1 hit in Finland and some Eastern European countries and in the top 20 in New Zealand,etc. Can't remember the others ,but there are others. |
