I just did a little research and views of the video can not be one of the criteria, because Adam's video has 37,746 views there. Gotye #12, 24,344 The Fray, who came in #14 had 42,000 views. Safety Suit, # 18, had 4,699 views. Ellie Goulding #20, had 661 views! :  ??? |

I feel so confident about Adam right now. I know BTIKM is not tearing up the charts and the album has been delayed. But, if these things were causing scrambling and dismay behind the scenes then Adam is an actor worthy of an Oscar He just glows with confidence and happiness these days. Someone described him as acting like the cat that swallowed the canary. He is building such good will as he visits these radio stations and does things like FUSE, MTV top 10, etc. He is blowing the minds of radio people with his excellent vocals!I think he has been everywhere lately and people who don't follow his spins on this song and countdown placement assume he is a star doing well. He wouldn't be asked to do some of these things if he was seen has an AI one hit wonder. More and more I'm coming to the conclusion that BTIKM was put out in December to counteract BFM. And was chosen first because it was ready to go and introduces the album concept. I wouldn't be surprised if he is sharing some of the new stuff with certain PD's on this trip. Didn't Larry Flick from Sirious comment on something to that effect? Wow, I think this is the longest post I've ever made here! Although I do get frustrated at times I basically agree with everything you said. Adam is so confident, upbeat & happy-sounding this era and he has access to a lot more than we do. So I'm going to do my best to not angst! |

I do not know what it is about. I voted for 2 x 20 and I think Adam was the first. When I voted for the third time, Adam was not there anymore at all. Confused ??? The order of the pics, during the voting process, has nothing to do with the video placement on the countdown. |

Somebody said earlier that maybe if we watched BTIKM more on VH1 so the view count goes up it would make the top 20. Definitely no because that 'Safetysuit' video has less than 5000 views and it made the top 20. Jim Shear said at the end of the countdown said that is we think our favorite has been unfairly treated we should talk to him on twitter. I would say that he is expecting a Glambert onslaught.
In the past they have always had a countdown contenders mention on the countdown. Did I miss it?

It's been a 1 hit in Finland and some Eastern European countries and in the top 20 in New Zealand,etc. Can't remember the others ,but there are others. thank you for reminding us  I know it was No. 1 on iTunes in Finland, but didn't realize it made it to the countdown charts. AWESOME!!!! |

What was FYE's history on VH1? I wasn't following Adam as closely then but I seem to remember it getting short shrift before the jump to WWFM.
VH1 are so firmly in Adam's camp with their #glitterkisses - is not making the countdown an indication of a change of single shortly? (disclaimer: I'm very definitely in TeamSwitch).

I'm trying not to angst and just try to be patient. These things take so much time and I think analyzing ever iota leads to stress and worry. He seems insanely happy and content and WOW, how confident do you have to be to sing that "very difficult song to sing" live countless times this week? |
