Saw this tweet o my feed: im thinking it was a way 4 them to show off adam's new image & cause excitement 4 the album I LIKE THIS. IF THAT'S TRUE THEN IT WOULD MAKE A LOT OF SENSE AND I WOULD GIVE THEM A SLOW FUCKING CLAP. Because that means they are spending tons of money just to *re introduce* him without even caring if it's a hit because they have ~BIGGER AND BETTER PLANS. MUWHAHAHAH. I hope it's true. Could be brilliant imo if done right. I've wondered about this, too. I don't think RCA ever pushed this song hard. Fans did a lot of requesting and voting, but I can't believe that RCA couldn't have done better if they tried. So maybe it was just a starter, but if that is true, they need to get a new song out quick! Because they need to move on worldwide as well. Another song should have been ready. |

RCA Ed posted on AO recently and simply commented that stations who say they don't have BTIKM to play are basically full of shit. I am beyond disgusted at this point. I spend good chunks of time daily trying to support BTIKM, and I feel so sad that Adam has worked so hard to see such lame results. I hope they change the single for the UK since every single person consulted over there said that that was their least favorite for a single. Ugh.....sorry to be such a downer.

Radio stations (DJs) say this when they don't want to play a song because it hasn't been approved by their PDs. The radio stations had the song, they just didn't play it. It is common for DJs to tell callers they don't have a song yet because they don't want to piss off their listeners. BTW, this is a line that DJs feed the fans of every artist- not just Adam. This isn't some giant conspiracy against Adam. |

A lot of people apparently didn't like this song, so maybe it really wasn't a great radio song. Let's see how the second single does. That will be the real test. |

Frankly we don't know whats going on and I never said I THOUGHT HE WAS GETTING SLIGHTED but I am I am trying to see both sides of how people feel while still stating that I don't think it's the case and I am positive...but srsly not gonna post about this crap anymore to keep having my words mistaken....not worth it. A lot of people didn't like this song, so maybe it really wasn't a great radio song. Let's see how the second single does. That will be the real test. Actually this song got very good reviews, even from Rolling Stone. :-/ I was just a little surprised they went with a ballady/mid tempo song. I was really expecting something like the way Trespassing and Cuckoo have been described. And when the UK people were tweeting about it, they were liking the faster songs too. I wish I could remember which interview Adam said he wanted Cuckoo. I have a feeling, when he went to NYC that week to have the single chosen, he might have been expecting Cuckoo. The thing I love about Adam though, and what RCA should also love is that he is a real "company man." Once the decision is made, he goes balls to the wall, in supporting their decision. And when he starts singing his second single and if he gets quetsioned about the switch, he will probably say something like, "The song just didn't connect with radio and its listeners like we thought it would." There will be no blame put on anyone!  |

 Sad that this single is not giving a fair chance. I feel that on one hand, radio is waiting to see if the single gets lots sales, people like the song, on the other hand, if radio not plays the song then not many people know about it to buy it. The single is not selling, so it's not playiing on radio  and it's not on VH1 countdown either! Adam believes in this song and thinks it's a great song, and he made a great video on it. Sad that some how not many people loving the song enough to buy it and making a big impact on sales chart as well as radio chart. Let's hope now that the next single will turn it around! and Trespassing will sell in millions!

I know it is all a guessing game, just thought I would ask for opinions. I think he will sing whatever the single is at that time. Idol will be around the same time, I am guessing. Probably the week before or the week after. |
