Hey guys - as much as I want to stalk the mythical dings with ya'll today I've got run out and buy cards and pick up yet another cake. Pretty much everyone in the family has a birthday this month!
[snort] I'll update the city list if any dings actually happen today.

I don't know WHAT to think anymore.
I find it very strange that The Mix in Dallas has taken BTIKM off the Top 5 at 5 request list and replaced it with WWFM....
Somethings up. Reminds me of the FYE single rollout.
I can not believe that RCA didn't do their homework. They apparently have a treasure trove of riches from this album from which to choose...and yet they didn't make sure that the song they picked would be the one radio would embrace???
*hoping the goodwill from the East Coast promo tour will start to kick in

Most of us (including me) complained about RCA wank on twitter but I'm starting to think those wankers will be proved right. If this is frustrating as hell for us I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for Adam. Unless he has information which we don't have that's keeping him zen.
63% in now & zilch.

I can not believe that RCA didn't do their homework. I can. This whole rollout/promo/album delay has been disheartening, to say the least.

I posted on another board, I really think RCA has pulled the plug on BTIKM (although, to be honest, I don't think they put much into it---which may have been smart as it turns out). The video would have made VH1's CD if they hadn't. I think they have moved on and are probably working madly to get the Bruno song ready. I think it probably became obvious that radio wasn't going to support, so they wisely chose not to "waste" any more money or energy on it. Not a knock on the song---I love it---it should have been an easy top 10 HAC song.
Having said this, they had BETTER get behind the next single and work whatever deal it takes to get the song on big market CHR stations. I am mostly ticked at RCA which always seems to learn the hard way when it comes to Adam. Personally, I wish they would release Trespassing. It's the title track, critics have loved it, and it seems like it would be a huge anthem.
I agree, sage, how hard is it to do reasearch with PDs before releasing a song? First priority should be making sure that the #1 station in the country likes the song.

RCA seems to have screwed up quite a few rollouts recently. I thought it was just Idols, but someone at MJ's said they screwed up Posner's new one too. Does anyone know about that? And with all the praise for Trespassing and Cuckoo, why do they have to do a Bruno song! What a bunch of crap! It has to be frustrating for Adam. Oh and Dr Luke again?! WTF! As if his track record with Adam is so great! : Especially when that station has been so supportive of Adam!
