RCA seems to have screwed up quite a few rollouts recently. I thought it was just Idols, but someone at MJ's said they screwed up Posner's new one too. Does anyone know about that? And with all the praise for Trespassing and Cuckoo, why do they have to do a Bruno song! What a bunch of crap! It has to be frustrating for Adam. Oh and Dr Luke again?! WTF! As if his track record with Adam is so great! :  Especially when that station has been so supportive of Adam! exactly! THAT what I was upset about when the Bruno collab was confirmed - that it would become a single. I WANT ADAM"S SONG TO BE A SINGLE! and the sooner the better. |

For what's it's worth, I think RCA have now asked the stations what they would support and they said the Bruno song....which wasn't ready and wasn't for sure even going to be on the album. Hence the delay to finish it up and get it on. If there are no adds today I think the new single is on it's way, although it may take a week or two and they haveAdam being talked about all over radio re Queen in the meantime.

THIS! And I'm wanking now - I'm sick of the way they dropped the ball. WTF good does the promo do now that they're (probably) dropping the song? Oh I know...it's good will for the next single & the album. BS.
As I recall Q3 seems to think the 2nd single will drop just before the album. So April??? Does that mean Adam twists in the wind for possibly 6 more weeks?
And then the "Adam can't make it on his own he has to ride Bruno's coattails" starts.
I can't even post on the News thread to flail about the Queen gig right now. I'm so mad.

I read Q's post about a new single end of March. No, I think they will do it within the next few weeks. Hopefully, by Mid March, if the album is coming out in April. We know Adam's singles rise slowly. It will need time!
The only positive thing I can say about RCA right now, is that at least they have delayed the album. They didn't do that for Daughtry or Cook.

I believe we are getting the Bruno song for the next single. There is some reason that the song went from "might not make the album" to "working on a song that Bruno wrote". I don't care what they have to do or who they have to bargain with, just so they get Adam back on the radio in time for his album release! I just keep remembering Adam's words: "It is all for the best". |

There's nothing wrong with this song. Its better than a hell of what's already out there (and yes, I'm looking at you KP). The video is absolutely top notch...and no one is touching it.
It like someone saying. You got a 90/100 on this math test. But I'm gonna tear it up, and in its place, I'm going to give you a history exam...on current events that no one knows the answers to yet. Your entire GPA is now going to depend on how well this new test matches news that occurs in another month.
[shakes head in frustration]
I now comprehend why Q3 was freaking out 3 weeks ago.

I have tried to stay positive because because I really love BTIKM, there is no reason that could not have been a Top 10 HAC hit. And I really don't get why they can't release Trespassing or Cuckoo when both songs have received so much praise. I don't hate the Bruno song but it seems unnecessary when they seemingly already have great songs available. I don't understand any of this at all. |

RCA Promo seems to have spent more time on promoting Chris Brown in the US more than anything. I'm excited for Adam's opportunity with Queen but yeah, it's hard to get real excited for something that is so far away, most people, at least in the US, can't attend and won't be televised here. I'm just happy for Adam's excitement for doing it. And I just saw the post about VH1. What happened with them? |

I think RCA is nervous about Cuckoo and Trespassing. I have no doubt they are awesome, but they may be a little "out of the box". I see no other reason they would decide not to go with one of these songs; they have been ready for months.
I bet we will hear about NCOE within the next 2 weeks.
And, yeah, RCA screwed up Posner's roll-out completely.
