Nooooo Andrea Bocelli. I get that people like him. But besides that I don't like him, Adam would have to work not to upstage him. No, no, no. I want to hear him singing with his classical voice with another classical singer and showing off his voice. I don't care if he upstage Bocelli. Bocelli sang with Christina and she just did what she always does. ;D we are talking CLASSICAL???? I am not alone?? Adam singing in classical style would be my dream come true! I can't care less who else is on the stage with him really... preferably he would be alone up there...

Thanks. It looks the same and still nothing plays. I must be lacking some software or something. There was a button asking me to install something, which I did, it took 1-2 min, and then I could watch. I can't remember what the button was called, but it was pretty obvious, even in Norwegian. I, on the other hand, cannot watch NewNowNext interview. Just a blank page, with their heading, but nothing else. I'd appreciate it if someone could upload it.

Nooooo Andrea Bocelli. I get that people like him. But besides that I don't like him, Adam would have to work not to upstage him. No, no, no. I think we need to give Adam more credit. I believe he would instinctively know the perfect way to duet with anyone. A charming and unlikely pairing like this could turn out to be wonderful and delightful and a PR bonanza. Oh, I know he could do it. We've already seen that (with Kris Allen). I just have no interest in it. As I said, he would have to be different to sing with Andrea. I'm not sure how many Bocelli fans would really get into Adam's current work. I personally do not enjoy listening to Bocelli. If I were going to listen to a "sort of" classical style of singer (and I am a classical musician myself), he is not the one. He is, I believe, untrained, and his unsteady vibrato drives me to distraction. He is one of the few people out there that I just cannot listen to. I'd enjoy listening to Adam duet with a good, classically trained/broadway singer. There ya go. I totally get that he is popular and many people love him. Adam could sing with him and blend well, I have no doubt. I get all that--just not interested at all.

I'm not seeing anything in that interview particularly "off" about Adam, other than that he looks gorgeous the morning after he was sick! No Trespassing questions but maybe this is more than a one part interview? And they did show and play BTIKM!

NoAngel, beautiful essay. So happy he has someone to go home to. You've been so prolific writing lately, don't know how you find the time for a Sunday essay too!

Re the norwegian interview - there are good things...
The interview is done by a tv channel and the text is on their web site. I assume the channel is big in Norway (like BBC in UK) altough this particular channel in their group seems to be having a profile which is more on the entertaining side (reality tv and serial comedy shows). So it is a platform to be seen in many norwegian homes which is good for exposure. Their front page titles are all on the scandalous side, so I guess that is their general approach, not directed to Adam especially. And on the web that kind of title makes people click and read - hopefully also aquaint themselves with the topic otherwise too which is good.
I agree there is not much about the music but it is mentioned both in the text and in the voice over, good again. They are not a music channel and just chose to talk about the gay thing and its repercussions which generates discussion and emotions which is good in the way that people more easily remember him. And I think that the general attitude towards gays in Norway is quite accepting, so the emotions generated should not be negative, on the contrary = good. Of course we would like him to be remembered from the music but its what it is. There will always be some interviewer that will want to go there and Adam - and we - have to live with that. We have to admit that the finnish incident made headlines everywhere. Good thing is that the reporter stays objective and only writes Adam's words. We could think that the beginning of the story, the actual gay part, is describing what happens in the US - media making it a big deal, hinting that maybe not all over the world in the same extent.
Only thing that really should be changed in the article is the links, several to old scandal stories and not the one there should be, to the new video. But I don't think all readers will click them. All other content which we think is not so nice is for the reporters to choose, it is their point of view. All in all Adam got exposure and there were both WWFM and BTIKM represented in saturday night TV.
I wish the blog 730.no that also interviewed Adam would soon publish their story. They seem to be much more music oriented (and friendly). On their build-up story there are links to both BTIKm video and to their story about Adam's concert in Oslo (lots of links and pictures and enthousiastic content). And also Adam's new greeting. With the exposure he got from TV2 we can expect more people to pick up their article, good!

Good morning. NoAngel I appreciate and agree with your essay....my main feeling is for Adam to be healthy and happy and always having a balance between his public life and what he offers us of his private life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRASHUS and MUSICGIRL!![/size]

I'm not seeing anything in that interview particularly "off" about Adam, other than that he looks gorgeous the morning after he was sick! No Trespassing questions but maybe this is more than a one part interview? And they did show and play BTIKM! At one point it seems to me he was talking about "Outlaws of Love", during that section when he was comparing being an outsider in a relationship with being an outlaw. I didn't see any issues at all with Adam's demeanor - none of the questions shown really lent themselves to big smiles and laughter. Plus, as is the case with almost all the interviews we see, it was clearly highly edited. Add in that Adam was probably still feeling pretty lousy, IMO he came off just fine.
